QUOTE(cybpsych @ Aug 19 2014, 08:32 AM) u got M2U? you can easily pay Unifi from M2U. If i pay thru M2U or CIMB Clicks, the bill account number is the billing ID from my unifi portal right?if you got Maybank2cards Amex card, you even get 5% cashback if pay during the weekend (Sat/Sun). Unifi @ RM149, pay about RM150 and charge to your Amex @ M2U, can get RM7.50 cashback in return. This post has been edited by xekidx: Aug 19 2014, 08:56 PM |

QUOTE(raynman @ Aug 18 2014, 06:45 AM) My VIP5 installation went smoothly yesterday. After two days, I can safely say that the Innacomm RG4332 i a piece of junk. Two TM Unifi installers came to my house at the appointed time. They drilled a small hole to let in the optical fibre pulled from the telephone pole near the back of my house. They didn't install an FTB outside my house but installed a small fibre wall socket (FWS). Four Unifi equipment were supplied. A Huawei EchoLife HG8240w BTU, an Innacomm RG4332 wireless router, a Huawei EC6106V5 STB and a Motorola C401A DECT phone. The STB requires a different login ID xxxx@iptv and password from the normal Unifi login ID xxxx@unifi. The wireless signal from the RG4332 is weak, so I configured my existing Streamyx wireless router, a DLink DIR-605L, as an access point to have a better wireless coverage around the whole house. The RG4332 performed quite OK as a router only, after offloading wifi duties to the DIR-605L. The main problem is that it cannot host a Minecraft server as its port-forwarding/virtual server capability seems to be not working. I will probably replace the RG4332 with an ASUS RT-N12HP or something better. The whole setup is stable so far; no wireless dropouts or internet disconnections. I will continue monitoring for 2 more days before I proceed to terminate my Streamyx 4Mbps. It can't port-forward 25565 required to access my son's Minecraft server. The port is still closed after defining the virtual server parameters. DDNS is also not working. It doesn't bind the current WAN IP address to the hostname after a reboot, but still bound to the previous WAN IP. |

My Unifi connection has been down since Monday. This is Taman Zooview near melawati area, kira Ampang la. Called their TM Unifi line multiple times but only got through once. Even went to TMPoint, both said the same thing. Please wait 24 hours until its reactivated. Here I am days later no Unifi.
Are they doing restoration near here as well? Anyone else in the same boat? This post has been edited by myromance123: Aug 20 2014, 07:47 PM |

QUOTE(rockpoper @ Aug 20 2014, 08:05 PM) Yes, exactly. I even took out the fibre patch cord and checked to see if it was transmiting. No light, no transmiting whatsoever. It did reappear shortly last night but couldnt authenticate successfully. Then it died again.Glad to know I'm not the only one. I hope they resolve it quickly. |

Hi, anyone received this today?
Telekom Malaysia Berhad wishes to inform you that effective 11 SEPTEMBER 2014, the payment period between the Bill Date and Payment Due Date in UniFi monthly bill for all UniFi customers will be changed to 21 days from the current 30 days. Is this means we have to pay the bill every 21 days? |
