OK, in this case, were you saying MCC is correct but description is wrong? I didn't know description is also playing a role here.

guessing now, since one user here already didnt get bonus cb for the new tng "wallet" description.

that means, likelihood RHB is validating both description + mcc.

to add more complication, it seems tng "wallet" also not identified as Online for bonus cashback.

so, i'm also guessing RHB got a funny way to check txn eligibility: MCC > category > description


this may cause tng "wallet" MCC to be grouped first, hence not under "Online"; but then it didnt match description.

yeah cuz their (new) acquirer bank gotta understand TNG DIGITAL's business and assign it properly.

seems the bank assign toll mcc because of thinking TNG = tng card/rfid/toll business nature haha

i guess TNG Digital didnt justify it properly that this is ewallet/digital service provider, not toll service provider

If can't earn ewallet cashback meaning the E-Wallet Top Up Campaign 2021 also will be affected...

Yeah, he did ask if only affecting one bank. I told him all banks. Then, he asked if only TnG has this issue and not other ewallets, I told him only TnG.

I already sent my feedback to him, fingers crossed will be solved soon.

I think Affin also. I just said all, so it is easier.

Similar to old Boost (before March 2019), you can choose you want ONLINE (with OTP) or AUTO DEBIT (no OTP).
Affin may give CB to Auto debit transactions. Test it.

TnG wallet E-COMM 2 using LFC qualified for cb.

LFC not require Online transaction, can get CB for direct debit transaction.

Can I know if anyone getting the 10% cash back recently? I got RM 25 activation cash back only. Do they come together? I mean the different types of cash back.

Yea, only RM 500 TnG is not e-wallet.

However, for 10% I already spent in last statement, not this one. I spent 1k on Lazada, not Lazada Wallet.
