Do you use unblock-us or VPN? I'm using unblock-us and netflix is buffering all the time now. Thinking of going for VPN if this resolve the problem.

Damn!! Maxis started the quota capping already.

How do you view that? I didn't see any option for home broadband when I clicked to sign up. I'm using my sister's name for home fiber and she don't have any mobile plan.

What does it mean by "EXPIRED - Home Broadband 10Mbps" ? Referring to RM 118 per month? Thanks.

Where do I get the VoIP no? My home fibre no is invalid.

I use tunlr.net and also unlocator.com, but buffering like crazy on maxis. when I connect to digi broadband via hotspot and use tunlr and unlocator, no problem. really frustrating!

Did you exceed your monthly quota? If yes, then confirm maxis start quota capping already.

But it mention unlimited download in the website.

You login to your account and see it for yourself. Starting this year, you are able to check your data usage. Last year still unlimited download, the "check my data usage" was disabled.

Its been like that since last year.
Every months my balance got negative.

Any BF4 players here? The latency seems to be more than 100ms these days. Anyone else having the same issue?

It was like that when I first signed up in 2012 but later in 2013, the My Data Usage Detail button was disabled.
Anyway, if your line is still not throttled, then I guess it is still unlimited down load.

After a series of complains and checking (they came my house 3 times in one month), the 3rd technician gave me the best reasoning which i shall now share to you guys.

What he said:

"The high ping is caused by maxis backend routing being very lausy. It is not due to fibre optic vs copper(my copper quality is good). Some customers get lucky if their ping(to google) is 10ms, but it is unstable. At 8pm onwards they also cap the speed to 5mb and at times lower."

Yep, so he told me if i want to use it for gaming, he advised me to switch back to unifi, or better still, streamyx. Comparing maxis vs unifi thread, i see more cases that maxis has more problem than unifi.

I do notice that on my 10mbps line sometime it is 5mbps only but since I pay RM159 for 10MBPS and sometime it get 5mbps... it is still better than unifi 5mbps on RM150.00...

I think they did't throttled even after quota. BTW i didnt register the maxis account.
