Can we use the 2 usb port on the Thomson router to connect external drive? I've tried attaching my thumb drive and external drive but it's not detected. Is there any settings that I need to enable first?

Facebook video load slow during normal hours..

but it load smoothly 1st thing in the morning at 6.45am when I wake up .. smile.gif

Got report number from Maxis also no use...

They just don't know or don't want to fix the problem...

I got no issue with youtube and other video streaming site.
My torrent download is always maxed out ..

only annoying thing is facebook video and photos loading slow

if you using public tracker like the one from pirate ...
then it might be blocked ... at at least limited during peak hour ..
i download from private tracker .. and usually no issue ..

Use this link for your old router , http://www.tp-link.com.my/support/download...43ND&version=V2

But I do not think you will be able to use the phone & astro ...together with your WR1043ND.

or you just plug in your router into one of the thomson port as another AP

I suspect he is talking about the older TL-WR1043ND.

Would the V2 firmware work with V1?

wow, seriously? sweat.gif

currently using unifi 5.. contract ends this march.. thinking of subscribing to astro byond iptv..

i do know i'll get 10mbps for 148.. n rm 108 for superpack 1. total RM256.
currently unifi 5 (149) n superpack 1 RM141 total RM290.

i'll get to save rm34 n get twice the speed n get unaffected astro by weather.

Question is, how about the reliability of both services (astro n internet)?

have you guys ever experienced a downtime? is it frequent?

currently with unifi, got problems too but very rare so i'll say it's pretty reliable n consistent.

but what is your say for byond iptv?

coz my sis will need a stable connection coz she'll work from home for Shell cyberjaya from time to time. she couldnt afford to have an erratic connection.

thanks guys. notworthy.gif

oh btw, i live in bandar tun hussein onn.

UPDATE: oh crap.. i just read 2 pages back n got scared already.. shocking.gif

it cant be all that bad right? but, i dont want to keep on discovering the things that i can n cant do when im already tied up to the contract for a freaking 2 years!!

maxis die hard fan, say something!

Heard Maxis is considering to put less focus on their Home broadband service... Perhaps even handing it over to Astro!
