Interesting...

I do notice that on my 10mbps line sometime it is 5mbps only but since I pay RM159 for 10MBPS and sometime it get 5mbps... it is still better than unifi 5mbps on RM150.00...

I think the possibility of being throttled to 5mbps is low unless you are a heavy user. I used to be a heavy user too, but ever since Astro start promoting 2nd/3rd decoder for RM50, my torrenting is quite low unless when I get too free and start going crazy again (due to the fact I stopped going to cinema ever since my first son was born 5 years ago). Even so, my torrent for each month is about 100GB at best (I'm pretty sure I didnt download that much but somehow my utorrent stats seem to differs from what my memory told me).

I've switched from UNIFI 5Mbps to Maxis 10Mbps and I'm quite regretful.
Maxis Fiber Home is VERY unstable. 1 day I'll get great speed and other days it's just SLOW, I mean worse than Streamyx slow.
I read Maxis Forum which teaches to power cycle sequence which I follow, but I start to believe Maxis is now cheating us. Let me explain.
1. I am trying to apply for Maxis Forum account but it does not go past 1st page. 'Proceed to step 2' never work. I think too many complaints Maxis doesn't want any people to join
2. I try speedtest on both speedtest.maxis.com.my and speedtest.net (i chose singapore). Both are by OOKLA. Both also shows close to 10Mbps speed. hor seh right? wrong!! You exabyte speedtest and only has 200+ kbps!! I then close all test and open new browser windows, try normal page like google search, facebook, youtube and it's damn 9 slow. Immediately try speedtest.net, it shows close to 10Mbps!!

Damn Maxis!!!

Why change? You think Maxis will give you more than TM if there is no catch??

From where you listen to Spotify?

If from Android... Read from the app reviews there is a problem... But after updating yesterday, no problem anymore.

Yup. Still getting 10-30kB/s.

On a side note, I have changed my router to 12U HP and I gotta said better than stock router. Hopefully can get my 14U HP on Monday/Tuesday to compare. Range is better and seem like transfer speed more stable when using WiFi.

Well.. I'm not facing the buffering issue in PC and Android.

However, I got problem streaming ShowBox/MovieBox at exactly 9.30pm onwards... even on the lowest quality but no problem with XBMC streaming.

if its is because of the caping... XBMC would also facing the same problem.
