Mine is CN: 575x. Do not have those problems. The bulging in power windows is just minor, I only realised it when I went looking for it.

If ppl do not want to buy Proton, that's OK. Better because there will be less ppl when you go to SC.

You would do me a great service by not buying Proton and causing me long queue when I go to SC.

I came to realize that my radio is making some sort of signal weak sound. Anybody experiencing it?

guess give another 1 year grace period... it should be design problem if it still unsolvable after 1 year grace period...
but still cant compare to BLM as the price differences almost double...
unless proton still using saga's power window design standard on Preve...

Only been to SC twice. 1000km service and 10,000km service.

Only went for oil change. But the waiting for my turn to service the car.... It'd be better if there are less ppl. I can have my car done in less than 1 hr.

As long as the power windows can wind up and down, what are you people complaining about? Got 10 years warranty...can always ask the SC to replace during the normal service if anything wrong..and you need to service your Proton at the authorize SC for the warranty to be valid

All of you have tried the 1st batch of power window in Waja like I did?
No need to wind up/down, I close the passenger door, the power window bracket broken and the window drop down...

Anyone tried to push the Exec CVT speed to the limit? How fast it can go??

there have no way to speed up the service speed even though the number of preve reduced...
beside, out there still have other proton models too to jam up the queue... hence the worker's "tak-apa" mentality too...

as my experiences, i went to perodua SC for power window switch replacement as i confirmed the fault, but i asked to make appointment and may need 2 days arrangement even though swap the switch only... fed up, i went to other authorized SC immediately for replacement, just take about 20-30 minutes to settle whole things as lucky that no any car servicing that moment...

that the reasons i never went back to SC after the 10k km service and DIY service for engine oil replacement with my own efforts at my own home

wasn't the power window regulator issues like those old time such as failure motor, broken bracket, cable snapped, poor plastic roller, etc...

as checked, it is the design issues of door frame or power window regulator... it could be weak metal structure caused the bend...

seem the design of Preve PW = Saga PW... sigh...

if that is the case, just wait for Proton to come up with the solution..in the meantime, there is nothing wrong with the operation of the power windows...if regulator issues, unless it causes fire , otherwise just let them have some time to rectify this problem..

Owners can always highlight the problem every time they service their car at the SC..besides, not only Proton have this door frame issue...

I would rather have Proton settle the more important issues like engine suddenly die off or the engine cannot off etc...

Even the Toyota also have Power windows switch problem ..took them few years to realize it..
Toyota Prius also have ECU bug back then, but I don't see the car owners in Malaysia complaining so much? It is a matter of life and death when the ECU goes crazy....

I would say the radio reception in Preve is average ..

and for 7 -points free inspection what should I ask SC to do? just say can help do free 7 points inspection?

Proton should use Persona PW design instead as the design complete different with saga PW and no complain from my bro-in-law (driving Persona)...

if volume,maybe ur HU setting,got some setting for speed volume...put it to 0..

ya lor, i missed out

-the blinking HU
-Left folding mirror hitting the window glass
-engine bocor
-headlight goes dimmed at night
-cannot flash highlight at night
-back seat got noise
-back power socket loose
-etc..

maybe guys can add in, then we see what problem/s have been eliminated for the newer batch. I hope proton improve the quality for the newer batch.

Even older batch chassis 12k does't have those problems at all.

Am I the only semi-auto/manual gear fan here? I just want to ask one question: Should there any 1st gear to 2nd gear switching laggg (using back pedal) if I remap to new ECU n TCU setting?

ald send my loan for approval, but i still cant made up my mind which model to choose. exec mt or cvt. since i unable to test drive these 2 model unit is making much harder to choose.

kinda doubt the cvt gearbox will be underpower like saga flx version (loud engine rev and high rev) since im choosing non turbo.

any advise for those who bought exec cvt or manual owners? thx

Added on November 23, 2012, 9:08 amI already mention in my previous post..please go for the CFE version if your budget allows it..CFE version have more rebates, the rebates for Exec CVT is given by deducting the SA commission.

IF you want the Exec CVT, loud engine during high rev is there, learn to control your foot, never exceed the 2k rpm during start moving from stop position..(not sure whether will have newer ECU this issue)
The EXec CVT is meant for normal driving..if you want a more powerful responsive car, go for the CFE...

But as long as it is moving smoothly, there is no sign lacking of power...I tapao another VIOS yesterday, during corner cut into my lane , damn..I shift to S mode and overtake him at the same corner..

Bro Dhuang is using exec mt? maybe he can give more info on the exec mt?



Another issue is the Bluetooth Audio sound drop..very often happen..cannot enjoy my song..

hi all. If u r servicing ur preve, ask for the product improvement check points. Normally all check points only available to certain sc(branch) which provides ecu n tcu update.

Iafm+ version of preve n flx also get ecu/tcu update. But i heard certain sc wont do it unless u ask for it. It supposed to be automatically done when u service ur car.Please report if u encounter that to icare.

About the power windows, prtn already acknowledge that. Its the buldging issue, not the power windows not working issue.

I think the problem lies on the same mould@design on the door side. Since it doesnt happen to other door except driver's side, i think think they r trying their best to rectify that, unless they change the inside door panel which causing the probs. Now what i see is they r trying to change the regulator 1st. If change the inner door panel, it involves another set of test especially side impact crash test coz redesigning inner frame involve crash worthiness. During prototype, they didnt encounter that. Seems the tolerance is big when mass production. I really hope they will continue doing the improvement until solve it. On blm, it doesnt cause the windows problem even it does buldge as reported by owners. 10 years warranty come with cost to prtn, i dont think prtn is happily to make it unsolve for years n keep changing regulators for free untill 10 years. I believe they will fork out permanent solution.

On dash vibration, i think 2 parts diy which u can check.

1stly, when the dash vibrate, try to hold ur rear mirror to see whether its coming out from the mirror coz there is a case metal vibration between the rear mirror with front glass. If that the case, just refit@tighten it within the slot@ u can ask them to do it during ur service if that part is the cause.

2ndly, if the 1st one dont solve the probs, check underneath the steering where the odb connector been securely in place(there is a proper slot for it), in case when they doing any diagnostic@reflash, the techie forgot to put it back properly in the slot. Yup, i really hate that part coz they shud done it properly.

If not solve,so, many things need to check whether dash fittings@aircond panel fitting, n shud be check by them coz if doing it diy, break something, warraty is void.

Sorry cant help much.
