hi all, i have a question here. what is the service interval for preve? the engine oil sticker wrote 10k and on the receipt it wrote 5k. btw i am using semi syn engine oil, planning to change the engine oil at SC every 10k and beside this i change the engine oil myself at 5k without tell SC anything about it. (can save some labour cost)
*
proton recommend preve change EO at 10k for normal usage..u wan change at 5k also can...
i change every 8k using semi syn oil...
now mileage 13k+...1st service 1k change,2nd service 7k+,now wait 15k change biggrin.gif

I'm loving this new ECU/TCU. Better pickup and i can maintain rev below 2k for city drive. Highway 120km/h only 2.5k rev. FC also very good. last time my best fc is 8.5L/100km. now can get 7.6L/100km  thumbup.gif

QUOTE(viperz982 @ Nov 13 2012, 07:21 AM)
Very good FC indeed.  After remapping my car in Ipoh i'm rushing back to Teluk Intan. I'm driving around 100-120km/h and once in a while speeding up to 160km/h using Ipoh-Lumut road and average FC shows 7.6l/100km. Will monitor how it perform for long distance driving later when I'm going to Kota Bharu, Shah Alam and Kuala Perlis next week.  rclxm9.gif
*
seen like very good feedback about the new ecu update...will go sc done asap icon_rolleyes.gif

fc also become better?hope so,cos now my fc very good for me already smile.gif

I actually thought preve's disc brake material is different. Forgotten who said it, I heard they said the brake are more powerful than others.
*

Anything wrong for having seconf preve, secondly after the remap of the ecu/tcu i have even more interested in this car then my stupid vios. Actually the only good point about vois is the resale value other then that i see no reason to pay for the jap f.... car. If preve will to launch earlier i wouldnt be having a vios.
nothing wrong bro..boring la if have 2 same d car...maybe wait proton launch other model lie hatchback preve ke?2 door preve?proton civic, proton accord laugh.gif

why proton dont put firestorm inside before they launch this car. actually all the car maker should have put this thing inside their car so that we dont need to buy extra stuffs.
*
and proton should put UR bar also for stock car...no need we to add on drool.gif

that's what proton said, but of course, difficult to get in real world settings. yours seem excellent though; 7.2L/100KM, how did you manage?

hope after servicing and a few more months i can get mine down to your FC.
*
welcome the stealth fighter.. thumbup.gif

the best fc i get is 6.9l/100km
90% highway...110km/h average...no sudden acc,slow overtake,no pedal hard..just all the way smooth drive with D,i will sure u will get it for6.6l/100km
but driving like this just bored yawn.gif never driving like this again...
now...highway?130-180km/h all d way biggrin.gif

Thank you, Ryuken74 for your feedback. Is your Exec an Auto?

I saw some include a reverse camera - do they attach this to the GPS unit (in the Preve Premium) or is it a separate and new device altogether?
*
u can install aftermarket reverse camera connect to the HU directly,no need extra device

What is your previous car/the car you're driving currently?
*

QUOTE(edwans @ Nov 19 2012, 02:49 AM)
waaa. i see i see. but i guess i'm 60/40 city and highway. i drive like u though! haha am glad to see that because everyone seems to think a 2x year old male must bantai kereta gila babi. ugh. i prefer being smooth tongue.gif

btw done my 1st service. kena RM195/- for oil change, gasket, filter, also pasang magnetrap. i dunno whether they fixed the laggy throttle or not, but feels smoother now. maybe just in my head? haha.
*
maybe they updated ur car ecu/tcu to the newest thumbup.gif

Not necessarily. Both Saga and Persona has no paper cabin filter, only the mesh pollen filter.
