maybe drb intend to keep the good ones and leave the bad ones..hopefully servicing will be faster..when i was at Cose also..i see many of them do a lots of walking here and there, wasting a lots of time on just walking alone. When service one car, three of them will group together, don't know talk what? Other cars just left unattended. It take a few hours from attended time to car driven into service bay even appointment were made.. |

QUOTE(gkl83 @ Nov 20 2012, 09:28 AM) i would suggest for preve CFE even though i'm manual freak... But, I think Almera sales pickup is better than our Preve.i went to nissan show room ytday night have a look for almera... the car built quality does impress me, no doubt but seem the engine may difficult to maintain as air intake hose going thru the top of engine and the car chassis design similiar with myvi (torsion beam and 1000kg kerb weight only) which only suitable for casual / city driving as my opinion, preve is much better and heavier for high speed... hence almera the only 4AT which lack of power, may end up 5MT instead... compare almera 5MT RM67k (kosong car) and preve 7AT RM73k (full features), preferably go for preve instead... hence almera look a bit cramp for me too as i got long leg and doesnt comfortable for me, also look "emptiness" due to lack of features... but preve's FC (turbo tuned engine) and maintenance (you know i know) are questionable... maintenance i have no issues as i like to DIY to solve any small matters by myself... resale value are difficult to judge, AMO just 10% differences compare good & bad resale value... but if planned to drive it more than 10 years, no need to consider on resale value at all, just look on the year end discount (to clear off this year car), spare part availability and spare part pricing will do, i guess preve still the winner here...i afraid almera will be another Vios that too much of batches and models released and certain spare parts only for certain batches only (if no mistaken), even have the tuned IMPUL accessories from factory for almera too, total RM88k... but most probably i will get preve end of next year instead as preferably to wait for the rectification of common issues... hate to visit SC oftenly with new car... QUOTE(fysim @ Nov 23 2012, 04:41 PM) Bro, maybe u should try another SC. Thank you. point taken. Anyway, i hate to go to COSE. For my case, I first wrote an email to iCare. Few days later the PE SC manager called me up personally regarding my concerns/ requests & we even kept in touch via FB. With or without this SMS, I have already made appointment with PE SC since 2 wks ago for 1K first service, new remap & some minor issues which is scheduled for early next week. |

QUOTE(wooz2002 @ Nov 25 2012, 10:27 AM) Good morning, maybe but have you check your tyres pressure?I have a Preve. Just wanna ask. I feel that the ride is bit more bumpy than the Persona although both have multilink suspension. Is it that the Preve's suspension setup is harder or is the GT Radial tyres on Preve a hard compound tyre? If it's the tyres thinking of changing them to something softer. Thanks! |

QUOTE(edwinkbs @ Nov 27 2012, 02:36 PM) After ecu/tcu remap, when press pedal to 2k rpm from initial then release pedal like jerk and pull back your car. When press to 2k rpm, your car will pull to the front then st8 release pedal when reach 2k, like the car pull backwards. Is it normal? Reflashing ecu/tcu now. And also, after change regulator and motor for my power windows, the noise came back again. Need change again? I went in and see them reflashing the software into my car. When i asked, the Proton mechanic said by Reflashing the ecu/tcu should not have any effect on top speed or FC. It just adjusting the gear ratio. Ayam also not sure, now high with caffeine, I will test for a few days and see how it goes. |
