Seriously even technician complaining about proton's quality and cut cost end up they had to fix this and that.
Its funny that proton's technician telling me proton is sucks. Not sure if he is proton's technician or what, just saw him talking here and there and wearing proton's shirt.

I actually thought preve's disc brake material is different. Forgotten who said it, I heard they said the brake are more powerful than others.

They will say the driver la! mabuk still want drive. Woah nissan so good ah, high speed bang also damage so less. Good car! Everybody should buy it. rclxms.gif
edit: just saw the tyre also same like preve. drive shaft patah. See the comments below, all said that proton supporter will come and bash it. Then why they come and bash proton in the first place?
Now I'm feeling rclxm9.gif

Got news.
"Nissan satu jenama yang dipercayai dunia,
Proton hanya berstatus cap ayam.
Kemalangan tersebut satu kes terpencil yg tak harus disensasikan. Ratusan ribu Almera telah dihantar pada pelanggan diseluruh dunia dan berterusan , manakala proton preve seunit mungkin belum terjual luar malaysia….. Sedih……hu hu hu"
This is how they protect their "branded" nissan. Why they bash proton in the first place and now when they are in worst situation than preve they said this. Sad case. I seriously bet they will f*** the test drive driver really hard for not taking care of their nissan. Anyway, I see the divider is still good, maybe he is driving 10km/h brows.gif

If really can get 5k discount , i wouldnt mind to have same car. To be honest before the ecu/tcu upgrade i was like wtf with this car. Secondly i have a good resale value for my dugong n i just have to top up small amount to get another new better car compare with the dugong. Sorry i am not bashing dugong but through my experience between the 2 cars.
*
No need feel sorry. Is kinda less dugong owner bash dugong. Almost all of them hide their cars' problems. But for proton, they share all over the world. But other brands, even though they had to take out their engine, they still say ok wouldn't mind.

How to know they updated both ecu and tcu. Some of them said the sc only update tcu but not ecu. Also, when cold start rpm not stable, keep up and down. Normal issue?
ALso, where got new ecu/tcu feedback? Want to check through then update. Later regret.

technician update the tcu and/or ecu just by using laptop...they will connect a cable to a socket below steering.

how to know they update ecu? as i said before, observe the file they choose to update when updating new ECU...
everytime either they want to update tcu or ecu, two of this thing have to be done together...

before this, before got new ecu, i go eon sc update tcu...they use the old ecu and reflash into my car...
the step is the same, just that they use different file (the file contains ecu settings...)

if u unable to observe, then u will only know it after u drive it... whistling.gif

I know tcu improves acceleration and power. what about ecu?

fc way lesser...tcu controls rpm..i think..
if u notice at "instant", which i mentioned several times, u will see the fuel consumption is way lesser...
*
ok thanks. Because everytime i go eon sg pinang, the sa all very.... like don't know anything. Some technician also same, all also don't know. Later they use old ecu and tcu also don't know. the head also not there every time, depends on luck also.
Anyway, still any issue with new ecu and tcu other than the engine mati if slot D>R fast ?

Had a trip to Sauk - Kuala Kangsar few hours ago for a dinner.
Had bad experience with Preve on the highway, the car hardly above to accelerate from 110km/h up to 150km/h....

Very much unlike what I had with the OLD ecu.
Hopefully its because of new ECU/TCU still learning my driving habit coz this is my first trip with more than 110km/h after the ECU/TCU mapping

I wanted to update this saturday. Need to see more feedback then can go le.

You should go. The feedback is good.
Perhaps TCU/ECU need to time to relearn everything.....
I'm still getting pretty bad FC....but pickup is much better than before.

you even do on the doors and hood? I put rubber on my 4 doors already make it very hard to close.
Still finding any good place that offers soundproofing in penang.

edwans, low speed sluggish is normal. DSG/Wet Clutch CVT, common issues. You are not alone.

Its a heavy car, perhaps after 5000km service, things will get better. I'm getting 13l/100km for full city driving.....
*
Your full city include hills? Mine with old ecu/tcu travels hill everyday with 11.7L/100km. Not sure after ecu/tcu update.
