Hellooo everybody & have a good week ahead icon_rolleyes.gif

Added on November 12, 2012, 11:41 amI got a question but different members gave different answers.

When braking from high speed, got helicopter sound.

Member 1 advise: Brake rotor/ disk/ pad may be warped & need to change to new one,

Member 2 advise: The brake is still new. Sound will disappear after 1 - 2 months of usage

My current mileage only 650KM & not yet 1K service. Been driving the car for almost 3 wks now.
I have sent to SC last week & the mechanic did 'Bleeding'. The helicopter sound reduced a bit but not totally eliminated.

Please advise

Post call.. time to sleep.

Anyway congrats to all, progressing really fast.

@fysim I think my brakes have the same sound too but that only occurs if I'm breaking from high speed. If normal breaking doesn't have that helicopter sound. I'm assuming it's normal.

I don't really care tbh. In LYN we're all the same. As our Prez likes to say, the post is there just so there's a face to it. Everyone does their equal duty of work here smile.gif

I don't think I fit the bill to be a TS anyways, I'm not active enough sweat.gif

If there's anything pressing here guys, just shoot me a PM aight.

BTW, last night I saw a white CFE Preve with rear bumper skirting like Dhuangs, looks very sporty, jelly betul wub.gif

Say what you want about Preve's ugly butt, but at night it looks really nice with that two lines of tail light, even better with the rear skirting.

yes that's what i've heard too - during the day, the high butt is ugly but at night, it looks good.

i am thinking if i were to get a preve cfe, i'd get bodykit and maybe change the Bosch HU to a bigger screen with reverse camera - maybe put it leather seats...

when do we think the facelift will be?
