my.calculation is simple. full tank in kl. when i m back to kl. i pump full tank again. whatever spent in between is for mileage. i refill rm75 in total. but when i m back, refill to full tank is.84. so, to.average out, i divide.by 2. for.sure my mileage was 1030km. 400 km plus to jb and i still have half tank. at first, i was shock too. but on second thought, it maybe possible bcos i drove at 110-130km on cruise control mostly.

maybe i really calculate wrongly. any.maths expert here?

Do u have to pay any extra money for the tint?
*
Yes I am paying for the extra tint. I checked the brand and the model which the SA promise me to give. Then without SA knowledge I called that particular tint brand office ( i got it from the net). I enquire them a lot on the models they have and the prices. Looks like my SA didnt cheat me the price he told me. Anyway SA will get discount directly from the Tint shop. So in the end , SA still never loose much money for the discount he wanna give me for the tint

my sa also promise for 1 gps, but the end told me nasim reject the claim cause of bla bla bla... reason.
how much they charge for plate number?
u tint CS75?
*
This is something new to me that SA will also have tendency to cheat us on the day I collect car by refusing to give the GPS. Ermm.....gosh I have paid all my downpayment differences yesterday... I should have hold that money I guess ( whether can or cannot not sure). Meanwhile for the no plate is RM 260 I paid to SA...the correct amount to JPJ is rm 200 I think but he said need to pay the runner RM 60....so I said I dont mind on this....Is the RM 200 is the correct amount to JPJ anyway?

On the tint , the SA havent fix yet. He is proposing another one also. So as earlier posted by me, I will check myself whatever brand / model he will fix for me. I already told the SA to give me the particulars of the tint before I agree

You should include how much you'd paid for fuel before the trip.

True, I've been reading alot about the DS5 and am shocked with the poor suspension system for such a good looking car. Can't understand why PSA designers took this approach. As a matter of fact most of the newly designeds Peugeot too appear be harsh with ride.

24km/L, not possible at all.

It is very easy to calculate. You start your journey with a full tank, and after u finish your journey, you pump full tank again. Just add up all the fuel ups, including the last fuel up after you finish your journey. That is how much fuel you have used in total. No need to divide by 2.

BTW, my 308 VTi can survive a trip from KL to Penang and back in one full tank. About 800km for 55L of fuel.

sad thing about it is that being harsh normall means better handling, but in this case it isn't doh.gif

Just sharing some info between Pug brothers,

There have been many cases of 308 gearbox becoming jerky after going through a puddle or flood....

Reason was found out that the gearbox is NOT actually sealed, there is a small opening for dunno what (some call it filler, some call it breather)...water can go through it...need to change GB oil.....anyway, the cure was to fit a RM7 (!) hose to it, make it its at least 1.5meter long so that can go into the engine compartment. SC will do everything....
Later I upload pictures....Not sure if 408 also have similar GB issues. Just sharing info...

Cheers

Pictures are only of the Hose that was added leading into the opening of the GB
They simply tie with cable tie..but it works
But pictures of the hose at the GB end was not taken

Please upload picture. 408 shared a lot of DNA of 308... Am sure we will sense something similar... So far for me, after driven thru a puddle of water.. After making stop the acceleration makes funny airy sound.. And if I stop completely and depresses my brakes... It makes funny gas sound.. And yes the sound emits from the gearbox

Added pictures...not sure if your case is related or not...but most complain its jerky...some of us are shocked to know our GB aint 'waterproof'...and bad news is if you do google (search "Peugeot gearbox flood) for it, you'll find its an issue not only for the 308T..even the AL4 kena

I guess he did some running around in penang. 2 yrs back, i did about 800km too with about 55l of petrol on my 407, 3 adults with luggage. Went to penang for a wedding. Drove a little there, then north of juru for a bit (heavy traffic) and then drove back. Still had about 10l left (based on trip computer calculation which is very accurate from my experience. I could still drive in KL/PJ for a while before i needed to take more petrol (66l tank). However, i had to cruise all the way and only occassionally exceeding the 120kmph cruising speed to overtake safely. Unfortunately, running around the city is a totally different story smile.gif

Off topic a little bit here. Either of you guys heard of the new 301? As far as I knew, it fits for a b-segment but also heard that it's only meant for left hand drive. Like 208, 301 also receive good reviews.

301 is a new compact sedan from Peugeot after Peugeot revised their naming system.
Currently only available at certain Europe country. Feedback seems not bad.
I am keen to see the new 208 OTR: )
