QUOTE(lunchtime @ Nov 26 2012, 10:59 PM) Could you share what is the 'm' engine difference between the 308t and 408t. Is the 508 using the same engine? Are the gearbox the same across the range? if i am not mistaken the prince 1.6 engine from pug is their best selling engine available in all their models at different trim levels.I test drove 308t, halfway thru the engine check light appeared, SA said it's normal and given its a test car, they have not serviced the car. Added on November 26, 2012, 11:02 pm Which car is giving out 170hp, 508,408t or Optima? |

QUOTE(SKYjack @ Dec 13 2012, 05:14 PM) True, I've been reading alot about the DS5 and am shocked with the poor suspension system for such a good looking car. Can't understand why PSA designers took this approach. As a matter of fact most of the newly designeds Peugeot too appear be harsh with ride. sad thing about it is that being harsh normall means better handling, but in this case it isn't |

whatever it is, i'm very glad pug is looking into this segment which has been too boringly being conquered by vios and city, even city now is kinda expensive.

i was in the impression nowadays all new cars don't really need to do 'break-in' and 'engine warm up' in the morning

QUOTE(jessyeo @ Dec 29 2012, 03:53 PM) Talking about VW Scirocco, I hardly catch up with my 408T on last weekend @ North Expressway since they have better 7 speed gearbox, horsepower and lighter body weight. But still fun catching up with them. send it for tunning to get abit more outta the car matsukatsu, If there someone comparing his K5 rpm with yours 408NA then tell him that is a mistake too. K5 come with 6 speed gearbox and definitely having lower rpm at high speed when comparing with 408NA 4 speed gearbox. |
