Today I wanted to redeem my Treats Points for Harvey Norman cash vouchers and get a Samsung Galaxy 8.9 android Tablet. However ended up get an Apple iPad2 for RM1,199. Yes, iPad prices have dropped in Malaysia. Too bad HV no more stock for the iPad2 so went to Machines and they have the iPad2 in stock. Since I use my MBB 2 AMEX often, my wife paid for the iPad2 with her own Principal MBB 2 AMEX so that I get RM50 cash back. Last month, also used my wife's MBB 2 AMEX to get a Philips Air Fryer and also saved us RM50 smile.gif

So I get to save RM100/month since both my wife and me have our own Principal MBB 2 Cards smile.gif

Nice! Have been thinking to get one for myself too but at the same time, kiasu-ness kicks in. Don't really wanna use a to be phased out gadget but then, the price is just too tempting biggrin.gif

As long as it is not posted in your statement, you don't need to pay for it. smile.gif

Sometimes petrol station can be as late as 3-5 weeks. I encountered this one time several years ago. Very rare though. Mostly will post on next 1-2 working day. Very seldom >2 days.

There is one time (even longer than several years ago), I have a petrol transaction that is not posted rolleyes.gif Anyway, the card is already cancelled now cool2.gif

Don't be too happy folks ...
I've had transactions only appeared after 3 months. 3-5 weeks is not a big deal.

But such situation (permanent missing transaction) rarely happens. Been using cc for a long time and it only happens to me less than 5 times in my lifetime.

Update : Just had 2 more transactions which was missing and it took 7 months to appear! (It reappeared on an already cancelled card for 3 months) Don't be too happy just yet folks!

Ya, mostly 1 ~ 2 days will post. But I do notice Amex transaction always slow than Visa when update to M2U. Maybe is just my case due to different place different posting way.
Unless same shop same terminal, I swipe Amex & Visa, then will know.. tongue.gif

I even had an encounter with GSC last year. I bought tickets via its online payment gateway and everything went well, I managed to collect tickets as well. I bought for my office mates. Even company also reimbursed for my claims and I paid directly to CIMB for the charges.

3 months after that, I received a reversed charges instruction and these charges were off-set against my due balance. I was puzzled as well. laugh.gif And it is RM 13x9 if I'm not mistaken. Until today this is still a mystery to me. laugh.gif

Most of my Maybankard 2 AMEX is poseted on the same day as the transaction. i.e. Transaction date = Posting Date

Hi, I am wondering, if the transactions appeared on already-cancelled cards, where do they appear? I mean...which statement would they put it under? rclxub.gif

What if the transaction did not appear, and I cancel my maybank cards, cancel my maybank accounts, etc? How will they bill the transaction to me then? rclxub.gif
