I've had transactions only appeared after 3 months. 3-5 weeks is not a big deal.

But such situation (permanent missing transaction) rarely happens. Been using cc for a long time and it only happens to me less than 5 times in my lifetime.

Update : Just had 2 more transactions which was missing and it took 7 months to appear! (It reappeared on an already cancelled card for 3 months) Don't be too happy just yet folks!

As long as it is not posted in your statement, you don't need to pay for it. 

Sometimes petrol station can be as late as 3-5 weeks. I encountered this one time several years ago. Very rare though. Mostly will post on next 1-2 working day. Very seldom >2 days.

There is one time (even longer than several years ago), I have a petrol transaction that is not posted    Anyway, the card is already cancelled now 

My 18 Feb 2012 petrol transaction just got posted 15 Mar 2012! Very rare to take so long to be posted, but it happens.

Hey mine too! Weird...my 18 feb petrol at esso just got posted on 16 march too.

There is a table with some figures and repayment scenarios with your MBB CC statement. If you want something more accurate there are many online calculators.

FYI for those who are curious, for the scenario above, paying 5% every month would take nearly 6 years.

why free petrol?

They also assured me that if i choose not to pay first, they can waive any penalty for late charges but i dont think i need to go thru such hassle for a very standard redemption procedure. I had to call two times to request for redemption as my first request was apparently not key-ed in to the system and i dont expect such thing to occur, esp for a platinum line.

And the fact that the CS repeatly tell me it will not be reflected in M2U until the next statement is a display of not knowing their own system.

I also called them up to offset with the TP. The CS said will take 2~4 days to reflect in the M2u.

I got one petrol transaction which made on 7th April and it was only posted in M2U on 19th April.

The following outlet is stated as one of On-The-Spot Redemption Outlets but the staff manning the outlet said it does not provide such service anymore. Fust Fyi.
