Gonna terminate my MBB Gold Card soon. As they renew the same card for me.
Kinda disappointed.

QUOTE(koh_424 @ Mar 10 2012, 05:02 PM) Nope. Is just Gold Card. no wonder u r disappointed. They dun1 ungrade me to MBB2. Dunno y. Have been used the card for 4yrs. Credit limit also very low. which in this case, i have something to b**** about. i know a person that is using amex gold card from mbb. when i got to know he wun get any 5% on weekends, i asked him to switch to mbb 2 cards, or perhaps ocbc titanium. but he refused. i'm okay if he's not penny savvy, but the point is, he is. yet he's unwilling to change. anyway...i shouldn't be bother about him you should really get another card. |

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 10 2012, 05:12 PM) Did you apply for upgrade/change? If not, just apply the MBB2 card independently and terminate the old one. As told by them, they can't do upgrade but can apply the 2 card and terminate the old 1. So far I still find the MBB2 cards and OCBC titanium is good. |

QUOTE(koh_424 @ Mar 10 2012, 05:02 PM) Nope. Is just Gold Card. Go to 1U MBB card centre or any MBB branch and apply for a new MBB2 card . Since it shares credit limit, easier to approve and usually don't need any documents except IC since you are existing card holder. They dun1 ungrade me to MBB2. Dunno y. Have been used the card for 4yrs. Credit limit also very low. Might need income docs if you are applying a higher card. Once you get the MBB2 then to can cancel your current card. Note: you can call in on weekdays (1-300-88-6688) for telesales service too. |

QUOTE(cempedaklife @ Mar 10 2012, 08:58 AM) wah..bro, u never use CC before izzit? (not bashing, just question) thks...its under maybank 2 cards, apply in 1u...hmm..i'll try to explain...if anyone saw some mistake in my explanation, pls correct, dun wanna be quote and said i give wrong info 1st, receiving statement or not is nothing to do with all these. perhaps they got ur address wrong or something. or maybe postman send to wrong house. call CS up. i dun get physical statement, coz i personally requested so, since i have m2u, its enuf. AMEX only give 5% rebate on weekends usage, whether u r eligible for the 5% or not, it depends on the transaction date. if transaction date falls on sat/sun, then u r eligible. for your statement date, for everyone it could be diff. but all my CC, the statement date is 12th each months. and the payment due date is usually end of current month / start of current month (20 days, like one of the bros said). the way maybank AMEX rebate work, its a bit diff. they follow calendar month instead of statement month (for my case 12th this month - 11th next month), so all ur rebate will be credited every 1st of the month, regardless ur statement date. (the cap of rm50 is also following calendar month.)Whether u get the rebate this month, or next, it depends on the transaction's posting date, not transaction date. after typing all these...i just remember to check one thing from you. is ur AMEX under Maybank 2 Cards? which u r given one AMEX and another VISA/Mastercard? got everything clear now... my statement date is at 8th of every month... |

Today I wanted to redeem my Treats Points for Harvey Norman cash vouchers and get a Samsung Galaxy 8.9 android Tablet. However ended up get an Apple iPad2 for RM1,199. Yes, iPad prices have dropped in Malaysia. Too bad HV no more stock for the iPad2 so went to Machines and they have the iPad2 in stock. Since I use my MBB 2 AMEX often, my wife paid for the iPad2 with her own Principal MBB 2 AMEX so that I get RM50 cash back. Last month, also used my wife's MBB 2 AMEX to get a Philips Air Fryer and also saved us RM50
So I get to save RM100/month since both my wife and me have our own Principal MBB 2 Cards Click her to my wordpress blog - Apple iPad2 Price Drop March 2012 |

The price for Ipad2 across Malaysia has dropped since the announcement by Apple for the new Ipad. It's not really a shocker news. It's always a so called tradition for Apple when new product is being launched.
