QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 1 2012, 08:52 PM) 10k Treatpoints for GST redemption has been deducted from my total points as per my request last week. However, this is not reflected under the card details, stil showing outstanding RM50. Is this the norm or there will be a sentence indicating that? CS agent said it will be reflected in the next statement, but then by that time already considered non-payment.. How many working days have passed? I'm not sure why yours is slow.

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 1 2012, 09:15 PM) Today is one week, 10k already deducted but not reflected in the Visa details. If that's the case, you'll be like my last year redemption whereby the RM 50 will be reimbursed in the next bill cycle.

QUOTE(hebe87 @ Mar 3 2012, 06:43 PM) this is because the transaction is not posted to yet. Whenever you make a transaction, the amount transacted will be deducted from your credit limit immediately. Therefore you will see changes to your "total outstanding" almost immediately after the transaction And it takes 1-3 days for it to be posted to your credit card account, thats why you will only see it under "transaction history" 2-3days later. M2U got so advanced? M2U couldn't even display available credit limit. Are you sure of that?

QUOTE(cenkudu @ Mar 5 2012, 01:57 PM) I call MBB Etiqa for car insurance renewal and they need Amex 4 digit code. I hope this is normal procedure I believe so. They also asked me during my renewal through phone in January 2012. This post has been edited by David83: Mar 5 2012, 04:09 PM

Transaction before statement date will be billed in the coming bill.
Transaction after statement date will be billed in the following two bill.
Payment must reach by due date which usually 20 days from the statement date.
I don't think you can do anything to the CS. He may have misguided you but you should be aware of it.

QUOTE(fenrir0402 @ Mar 9 2012, 08:51 AM) I'm not here to argue who's right or wrong, but as CS, he is responsible for misguiding, cos he's the one who provide information right? let's say if a booklet also provide misinformation, should i blame the book or myself? clearly this is the one who provide wrong information. there's no way i would gain self consciousness without consulting someone right? and the best person would clearly the company's representatives, and, they provide misinformation. I'm gonna file injunction anyway. i would try any way possible to make sure he is responsible for the misinformation. He himself should be aware of it not me.Furthermore, I did quote example to him, on the statement date, not before, not after. You may file a dispute with the bank if you have the CS details. You may also file another dispute to BNM. Good luck with your injunction. I seriously hope you could win the case!

The price for Ipad2 across Malaysia has dropped since the announcement by Apple for the new Ipad. It's not really a shocker news. It's always a so called tradition for Apple when new product is being launched.

I don't even want to punch in the numbers. You may not enjoy the 8.88% retail interest if you miss a payment but not sure if paying min amount is considered as missing one payment.
Sorry about this as I'm NOT opting for this route.

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Mar 23 2012, 08:02 PM) Wah? Now you make me blur, hahaha. But nice number 3618 That is's a different way of calculation whether the 7.5% come first or later. WaCKy-Angel, points out that you'll get an instant 31% first during the payment. And the 7.5% rebate comes after payment paid on the amount after the 31% discount. The net effective discount is actually 36.18% and not a direct sum of 37.5% (31% + 7.5%). By the way, does you guys include the effect of 6% GST?

QUOTE(fahmisarkawi @ Apr 2 2012, 07:45 AM) Thanks David83 for the input....thought the 5x tp is only for purchase and not valid for auto debit since its recurring.......Anyway thanks again for answering... For every RM 1 retail swipe. I believe auto debit and installment are part of retail swipes. Not eligible transactions are cash advance and BT.
