QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 7 2012, 09:11 PM) Posting date or transaction date? paypal is the only overseas payment provider i know who processes on weekends.I always use my PayPal to pay and the most recent one was on Saturday's night to pay something in Euro. My transaction date was captured on Saturday and posting date was yesterday. 3 weeks ago paid something in USD also with PayPal, same scenario as above and I got my 5% rebate on 1st March 2012. want to lock in your 5%? pay with paypal. |

I confused. Why do you make such a big fuss over this? Regardless when it is, you pay it when you get the statement. Simple. Bought something you cannot afford?
To answer your question, if statement date is Mar 2nd. all transactions up to the posting date of Mar 2nd will be in the Mar 2nd statement. In your case, your transaction likely posted on the same day. If you want it to fall on the next statement, then only use your card on statement date + 1. And it will not be in the statement of May 2 but will be on Apr 2. I cannot fathom why you would expect that you can delay the bill by 2 months + 20 days (unless the date you are giving is the due date and not statement date Honestly the MBB2 thread is starting to be a like CC general thread This post has been edited by zenquix: Mar 9 2012, 11:36 AM |

yes you have a right to complain and kick up a fuss
and it is also gives others the right to judge and comment on the matter, behaviour and other facts as they see fit. IMO, the M2C thread is to discuss features of the card. Not MBB CS or complaints or general CC related matters which belongs in its own thread. If some one has a similar issue with their Citibank card, should they be making a post in the Citibank thread? edit: you are not looking for guidance. You are looking for vindication. QUOTE(koh_424 @ Mar 10 2012, 05:02 PM) Nope. Is just Gold Card. Go to 1U MBB card centre or any MBB branch and apply for a new MBB2 card . Since it shares credit limit, easier to approve and usually don't need any documents except IC since you are existing card holder. They dun1 ungrade me to MBB2. Dunno y. Have been used the card for 4yrs. Credit limit also very low. Might need income docs if you are applying a higher card. Once you get the MBB2 then to can cancel your current card. Note: you can call in on weekdays (1-300-88-6688) for telesales service too. |

unless you can change your IC number, I don't see how they can't. Note: banks don't care if you didn't receive the statement

i think what he meant is if you considered your savings as 7.5% on weekends and 2.5% on weekdays previously, you are just converting the savings into a physical (non-point) form for the iPod. You are not getting additional savings per se.
Does not apply if you are only considering 5% weekend cash back all the while and the 5x points is in the background and not considered. |

if you want to use Amex with Agoda for the 5% and 5x points, pay with Paypal. They do process on weekends.
You need to register your Amex with Paypal though and you have to pay in non-RM currencies, as Paypal does not accept Amex use for RM transactions. This post has been edited by zenquix: Apr 15 2012, 12:08 AM |

for MBB VI users tho... pay with the Visa. Very high chance to get 6% discount + 5x points, since Agoda reservation center is in Great Britain, which qualifies as overseas transactions altho it is in RM
6% Agoda discount + 5 x TP for oversea transaction + 0 admin fee due to RM transaction = win |

Amex is only allowed for foreign currency. Paypal only has approval to charge in MYR for Visa and Mastercard.
