No and likely the answer will be the same across all banks. You have used your credit card to buy RM10k (for example) worth of stuff and you want the bank to give you a discount ? It is a rather outrageous request and likely no banks will entertain you.

You may try but be prepared for a long process and it might not be successful at the end of the day.
The T&C of your card usage clear says that you are viable for all (valid) transactions and charges associated with it. You may check it out if you have doubts.

As far as i know, not all banks implement this service. For Ambank, they don't sms to cardholders as i already called them to confirm.

Just to ask, do we need to call and inform the bank if we wanna use our cc overseas? Is it necessary?

My swipe at Shell Sunway Pyramid roadshow was not entitled to any TreatsPoints (not even 1x TP) with my Maybank Petronas Visa sad.gif

• Every RM1 spend for other purchases will earn 5x TreatsPoints EVERYDAY
Note: Other purchases NOT applicable for spending at other Petrol stations

Should have used my UOB One Card / OCBC Titanium as I wasn't sure if the MCC is under Petrol or not...

You want such high credit limit for what? Still need to pay back in a month, and if you got the money you can overpay first so that effective credit limit higher anyway.
