guys , check ur cable regularly .. not just splitter

i just bought all new cable for modem , phone n line ( actually not new , found it at office lol ) and get the top notch ( for me lah ) 4mb readings back

Yesterday call 100 to apply 4mbps upgrade and just now 3pm a technician came to my house and set the port to 4mbps.He also bring along the innacomm modem for free to me.He told me to wait for the center to activate my speed to 4mbps in 24hours time.
So far satisfy with their job done in very short time.Now only waiting to get my line activate to 4mbps.Whoaaa so fast oh.... only 1 day

i didnt get his number... he just come and set the port thn tell me to wait for 24 hours to get my acc update.

Seriously i didnt expect they will get my line upgraded that fast.Monday called up them to apply for the package thn next day 3pm technican come to my house to set the port and told me to wait for 24 hours to get my account update for the speed.
Thn less thn 2 hours my line is up with 4mbps speed.Everything settle less thn 48 hours!!! Good Jobs TM!!! 

Hi, guys and gals. I am currently having issues downloading torrent using streamyx, seems to me that I can't event connect to any LT seeds or seeders even if the torrent is new and has few hundreds of seeders. In the past there was no problem downloading at 400+ kBps.

just wanna ask if anyone having problem downloading torrent using bitcomet or utorrent in Klang Valley. or did Streamyx really throttle torrent to that kind of extend that downloading using torrent is impossible.

jumper open at 5120, as some unifi users won't return to streamyx anymore... we the 4mbps users won't go back to 1mbps hehe

installer came my house just now, after settled all the stuff,i juz realise my spd was only up to 1.5~1.8mbps, then i call back that fella, he told me i hav to wait 24 hrs so that my spd will only rise to 4mbps??!  hav u guys experienced that too??

I actually learnt minor trick from youtube buffer problem, just keep refreshing the youtube page until the video loads within 1 sec then you're good to stream. Not sure why, but it does helps.

after few month upgrade .
the ping is a bit high because the router is a bit far.the same setting problem.

the Bt is is fast. all link running at full speed not many seeder also running well.

ADSL = up to 8Mbps

if ADSL2/2+  can up to 24Mbps

but the speed may greatly reduce if the copper line length longer than 1km
shorter, lesser than 1km, you get 20-24Mbps
I'm not sure which type of DSL TM Streamyx are using, basically almost same tech,

that is why TM recommend the 4M user house to exchange distance at least within 2km

they do not offer higher than 4M on ADSL, because providing fixed package speed for user beyond 4M can be difficult and problematic
if you see ISPs in Australia, is a good example, they usually offer package speed as "Up to 20-24Mbps", price is tag by the amount of quota

they cannot provide user the actual speed, the speed is depend on how far and where they live, at least can guarantee 1.5Mbps for their users.
now malaysia use UniFi instead, which distance is not a problem with fiber optic light speed, can provide fixed ultra high speed, so Streamyx will be discontinued someday and replace by UniFi

i'm using 218 ip all the time.. but speedtest only get 200kbps.. WTH? report two times already.. donno what they done at first report.. said reset port already by still the same.. hampeh...
