I called up 100 for an upgrade 2 weeks back for the 4MB BB plan. Supposedly, the technician was to come to my  house last Friday but he didn't. Amazingly when I checked my modem on Saturday, my downspeed is now 4MB. Anyone knows how this is possible?

Speedtest results still show that I am on the 1MB plan. On the status page below, it says it's pending customer and no speed change. I called up the installer and he said he will come this Saturday. Anybody has any idea on what's going on?

I recently upgraded my Streamyx to 4Mb BB plan. It was running fine for a few weeks with a speedtest of 3.6 Mb download until recently when it got reduced to 2.6Mb. I checked my modem dsl status and the downstream rate has been changed to 3Mb from 4Mb. So this explains the sudden drop in download speed. Called up 100 and the tech raised a ticket to get the problem resolved but so far there is no action. Any of you guys experienced this before or does anyone know how this sudden change in port speed could have happened?

I've been waiting for more than 5 years,
the only hope is recently told by TM via email that my area will have 4mbps in end of November 2011,

but really unlikely IMO, so far my area no one has 4mbps

it's a small border town, but actually got many ppl here really need faster than 1mbps, demand should be high gua
last week I went to Bandar Seri Begawan at JPMC, use their public WiFi on my Optimus 2x, omg both download and upload  speed burst to 20mbps, so this is the feeling to use UniFi VIP 20...

this might be true.. because what happened is that my friend works
at TM as a planner for streamyx, and he told me that 4MB is available..

once i went to TM Point to check, the counter guy said no 2MB or 4MB available,
and i even tried calling 100 just to double confirm.. operator also says no.

when i called back my friend, he said he did check and it should be ok..
so now my friend would ask his colleague to go ahead with upgrade order
all the way from KL (i'm in Melaka).. let's just see how it goes later.

I've upgraded to 4mbps bb deal, when can I get the free cordless phone? Tm installer said just go to tmpoint with the installation completion form, while the 100 operator said need to wait for the 1st bill.
