just applied for 4MB upgrade from 1MB.hopefully all works out.

great.what does speedtest.net say on the performance?

but i saw most of them got 4.xmbps and over ? 
then i should stick with this speed
it's superb stable and the ping around 14 ~ 16ms only 
stable and low ping worthy than anything i guess.. 

just upgraded to 4mbps from 1mbps .. the technician says requires 24 hours in order for my old speed to be upgraded

just wanna ask u guys.. how long it takes for u all for the speed to be upgraded

after 2 weeks my 4mb upgrade still cannot get the speed.
max i get from speed test is 2.4mb, lowest i get 1.7mb, usually i get around 1.9mb-2.2mb.

they give me so many nonsense and excuses, finally  they offer me to downgrade back to 1mb, or go to unifi.

should i go to 2mb package? since the difference is only rm10, im afraid if go to 2mb package i will get lesser than 1.9mb-2.2mb.

not going back to 1mb cos the speed difference is around 100kb/s. unifi still not so interested in the moment.

i applied for upgrade yesterday and the fella at the TM counter said within a week.

well, that's what the guy at TMpoint said. assumed it'd be quicker since go direct to them but guess not.link is already at 4092/511 and that was done 30mins after registration. However when checked with speedtest still 1MBps only.i'll be calling 100 in the morning tomorrow to see what's going on.

right.so it'll be 48hours by tomorrow and i'll call them then.

i try dl-ing ubuntu to test my dl speed.. yesterday was around 410kbps/sec..
but now i try around 240kbps..

what does speedtest say? if it is still 3.2Mbps and higher,then everything is working fine and its either congestion or just our lousy performing links...
like the infamous Proton cars quote..."ini biasalah "

my line currently capped at 5MB and normally when i download filesonic file the speed is 3++kbps and seldomly hit 4++ speed..is there any software i can throttle up my download?

update at 5.20pm. well i just love the way TM works  . the first guy who was assigned to come never called back.left him a message around 3pm.no response.called 100 just now and turns out now they've assigned a new guy to come and enable jumper.asked them how come other guy never came and they said they have no record of assigning this other person and only can see the new guy's name on their system.

god knows what jumper they need to enable if the modem already shows 4092/511 30mins after i went to register. now i've to wait till 10am tomorrow once more.

is this ok for 4mbs

last weekend, my line always on off on off.. can connect at all

call them, and the problem settle in 2 days.. not bad..

but i think the bad is, right now.. i cant even downloading a thing! everytime downloading, for a while.. seems it like hang or idle.. eg at 30% forever and ever...

surfing is ok.. sometimes slow.. but.. overall fine la.. but cant download? gotta call them again.. and marah them kaw2

wanna ask sth, my speed now had been capped to 4096 since yesterday, but speedtest oni get 2mbps, the technician said i will get full speed after 5 hour from yesterday noon, now still same, is it other problem or just no ned activate ? coz my snr not good, so i cant tell which situation, probably just my line bad and cant get 4mbps.
