Cannot claim tax relief for own. Can refer to PTPTN website link below:
https://www.ptptn.gov.my/pelepasan-taksiran...kai-sspn-i-side
4. Individu yang menyimpan untuk diri sendiri tidak diberi pelepasan taksiran cukai.

That is what the bank officer suggested when I insisted on opening a no fee BSA. Going back next Monday to open.

since you are going tomorrow to open a bank a/c,
since the link can be done immediately
since the minimum transfer is RM10 from SSPN to BI atm
can try deposit RM10 more than your earlier intent value and do the transfer withdrawal of RM10 on 31 Dec and tell us the result? notworthy.gif
only when you are really free and convenient and when you are also really keen to know that too. thumbsup.gif

My guess is they will not take action so soon as they are encouraging this form of traceable payment transactions in businesses. ...
Maybe some yrs later...... Like they had already started to tax e- businessess

those that are in the higher tax brackets will find that the tax relief received will be much better than the gains on the variance of FD rate

I think majority of us save in SSPN for tax relief ...4% dividend is not guarantee depending on SSPN fund performance... If this year can maintain 4% I think syukur already sweat.gif

OT :- For saving can look into high yield saving eg OCBC360, SCB PSA...

I hope not. This is good side income. smile.gif
Somehow, I think this cash back rewards will not last forever, just grab while you can. Not sure though, just my guess.

In a 14% tax bracket or higher, maximise the 8k tax relief instead of putting in ASM3 is a better option for myself.. just not willing to pay the extra 1k plus tax..

The BI account I open recently looks wasted for now..

Hi..guys, Im new for sspn.

Wonder if i open account today still can get the tax relief for year 2019?

Anytime we can do withdrawal, right? unlimited amount?

Open account thru e-SSPN website is it the faster way to register new account?

Is it true that in future anyone want to apply for PTPTN also need to have an SSPN account?

Why everyone is using booth to pay for sspn?

Thanks.

try to see if you can managed to open and deposit by 30 Dec
some forummers posted that, after one deposited the money by use of PTPTN site, instantaneously one should be able to see the deposited amount through the sspn-i a/c balance

some forummers mentioned, should be preferably after 1st week of Jan, and try to leave a minimum of RM20....

Open account thru e-SSPN website is it the faster way to register new account?
should be faster as I should be direct and paperless

Is it true that in future anyone want to apply for PTPTN also need to have an SSPN account?

Why everyone is using booth to pay for sspn?
for the boost point I guess
Thanks.

every end of the year when we deposit the money into SSPN, do we need to print our own statement for income tax or SSPN will auto email the yearly statement to us?
