Sorry newbie in SSPN-i, after you link bank islam with sspn-i, can we peform online instant bank transfer money from SSPN-i to other bank account?
If my understanding is correct, we can withdraw money from SSPN-i using ATM card after linking to Bank Rakyat/Islam.

As I know, only Bank Islam dan Bank Rakyat can be linked to SSPN-i account. May I know which bank is better choice to link or there is no much difference actually?

Was at BI just now n adviced to open Qard Account w rm12 AF but with convenience of Internet banking n free IBFT. No need to use ATM for withdrawal n transfer. Any comment?
*
Are you saying we can perform online transfer of money in SSPN-i to other bank account using Qard Account?
If yes, I don't mind paying the annual fee for the sick of convenience.

Yes, but the limit is different. Withdraw cash max RM1500. Transfer is 30000 or something like that.
*
Bank Islam customer support told me that if want to withdraw more than RM1.5k (eg. RM5k) need go to counter.
May I know how does this RM30k transfer work?

Sorry for noob question.. I just found out that SSPN-i can contribute to myself even I’ve no kid.. so, it is another type of EPF, only diff is can withdraw anytime n also can claim tax relief?
*
Cannot claim tax relief for own. Can refer to PTPTN website link below:
https://www.ptptn.gov.my/pelepasan-taksiran...kai-sspn-i-side
4. Individu yang menyimpan untuk diri sendiri tidak diberi pelepasan taksiran cukai.

Since people talking about lhdn tax etc etc.

I wonder if all this cashback game, be it from Boost, Credit card will be taxable if they found out?
*
I hope not. This is good side income. smile.gif
Somehow, I think this cash back rewards will not last forever, just grab while you can. Not sure though, just my guess.

Anyone know about the withdrawal rules from SSPN?

As I read through the QnA from the official site, it mentions that the fund must be more than 3 years and have balance of RM1k.

However, this site mentioned different story.
https://themalaysianreserve.com/2017/03/31/...s-of-sspn-pt-3/

Anyone has experience withdraw fund from their sspn account? Please share.

1. From my understanding, there are 2 types of SSPN:
(a) SSPN-i
(b) SSPN-i plus
2. SSPN-i can withdraw anytime.
- Pendeposit boleh membuat pengeluaran/ penutupan akaun pada bila-bila masa tertakluk kepada peraturan
yang ditetapkan oleh PTPTN.
3. SSPN-i plus can only withdraw after 3 years:
- Pendeposit hanya boleh membuat pengeluaran selepas 3 tahun dari tarikh pembukaan akaun dan jumlah minimum yang perlu ada didalam akaun simpanan adalah sebanyak RM1,000.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you know what is the rule and regulation for withdraw in SSPN-i?

I intend to subscribe to SSPN-i plus for the insurance, the underwriting company is MSIG takaful. Anyone has comment about it? Or it is more worth to buy similar insurance from other insurance company or without bundle with the saving plan?
*
From what I know, for SSPN-i, you can withdraw any amount anytime (not sure if we need to leave the min RM20 in the account?) either at PTPTN counter or ATM.
For convenient, I think can try open bank Islam and link it to your SSPN-i account like some forumers suggested. You can transfer the money in SSPN-i account to bank Islam account at ATM. Then, from bank Islam account online transfer to other bank.

As for the insurance, I am not familiar with it so can't comment much.

Hi all,
I just opened a sspn-i account yesterday.

Deposited Rm1000 using boost yesterday. May I ask:

1) How long does it take usually to reflect in SSPN-i statement?
2) When will sspn/boost send email to inform about the deposits?

3) what is the maximum amount that can be paid via boost?
RM1000 per transaction. You still can make another RM500 on the same day. If not mistaken, daily spending limit is RM1.5k per day.
Sometimes, if transaction failed, you can retry few times after waiting a while to see if it can go through or not.

4) When boost payment finally reflect on statement, which date does it follows?
It follows the payment date.

5) anybody has experience of money went missing after transfer using boost?
So far no missing when I am using.

*
1. Usually, the next working day afternoon. Mine already reflected when I checked just now for yesterday's deposit.
2. Boost will email SSPN-i payment receipt once your payment is success on the same day.
PTPTN will email you also after SSPN-i was successfully deposited within 2 working days.
3. RM1000 per transaction. You still can make another RM500 on the same day. If not mistaken, daily spending limit is RM1.5k per day.
Sometimes, if transaction failed, you can retry few times after waiting a while to see if it can go through or not.
4. Follow payment date
5. No money missing so far when I use. Screenshot your transaction just in case any issues happen.

I checked with bank islam atm. Usually faster reflected there than ptptn portal
*
Now still can perform SSPN-i balance inquiry at bank islam ATM?
I just called PTPTN CS to check my balance. The staff told me can only check until year 2019. 2020 one not yet updated. The semakan pinjaman penyata SSPN-i could be up around 10 Jan or later according to PTPTN CS. Hopefully, it could be up earlier.

Boost to SSPN on 8Jan2020.

Normally reflect on the next day but this round no record appear in sspn website yet.
*
If you want faster result, you can do SSPN balance query at bank islam ATM. Normally, it is reflected faster there.
