QUOTE(rocketm @ Dec 30 2019, 03:12 PM) Anyone know about the withdrawal rules from SSPN? 1. From my understanding, there are 2 types of SSPN:As I read through the QnA from the official site, it mentions that the fund must be more than 3 years and have balance of RM1k. However, this site mentioned different story. https://themalaysianreserve.com/2017/03/31/...s-of-sspn-pt-3/ Anyone has experience withdraw fund from their sspn account? Please share. (a) SSPN-i (b) SSPN-i plus 2. SSPN-i can withdraw anytime. - Pendeposit boleh membuat pengeluaran/ penutupan akaun pada bila-bila masa tertakluk kepada peraturan yang ditetapkan oleh PTPTN. - https://www.ptptn.gov.my/pengeluaran-penutu...aun-sspn-i-side 3. SSPN-i plus can only withdraw after 3 years: - Pendeposit hanya boleh membuat pengeluaran selepas 3 tahun dari tarikh pembukaan akaun dan jumlah minimum yang perlu ada didalam akaun simpanan adalah sebanyak RM1,000. - https://www.ptptn.gov.my/pengeluaran-penutu...spn-i-plus-side |

Or it is more worth to buy similar insurance from other insurance company or without bundle with the saving plan? |

This post has been edited by MUM: Dec 31 2019, 08:09 AMI tried using both the method you mention but didn't get the same dividend return. My findings: Interest is calculated by - (Deposit Amount/Balance x Dividend % / 12 months) x number of months entitled to. Transaction between 1st to 16th will entitle for that month of interest. i.e Deposit on 05 Nov RM20 x 4% / 12month * 2 months = RM0.13 Transaction from 17th to 31st won't entitled for that month of interest. i.e Deposit on 30 Oct RM20 x 4% / 12month * 2 months = RM0.13 Just double check again. Deposit on 14/12/2015, 15/12/2015, 13/12/2016 & 15/12/2016 not entitled to any interest. Deposit on 4th Dec get me 1 month of interest. Not sure the cut off date for Dec. ...................... |

Most of my deposits are made on 17th and onwards. For interest returns, if any, might only eligible for in the initial deposit. Gonna work hard next year. QUOTE(rocketm @ Dec 31 2019, 12:15 AM) Thanks for the reply. From what I know, for SSPN-i, you can withdraw any amount anytime (not sure if we need to leave the min RM20 in the account?) either at PTPTN counter or ATM.Do you know what is the rule and regulation for withdraw in SSPN-i? I intend to subscribe to SSPN-i plus for the insurance, the underwriting company is MSIG takaful. Anyone has comment about it? Or it is more worth to buy similar insurance from other insurance company or without bundle with the saving plan? For convenient, I think can try open bank Islam and link it to your SSPN-i account like some forumers suggested. You can transfer the money in SSPN-i account to bank Islam account at ATM. Then, from bank Islam account online transfer to other bank. As for the insurance, I am not familiar with it so can't comment much. |

Hi all,
I just opened a sspn-i account yesterday. Deposited Rm1000 using boost yesterday. May I ask: 1) How long does it take usually to reflect in SSPN-i statement? 2) When will sspn/boost send email to inform about the deposits? Because mine has not reflect in statement and have not receive email. 3) what is the maximum amount that can be paid via boost? I received error message after I try to transact again after the first payment of Rm1000 4) When boost payment finally reflect on statement, which date does it follows? 5) anybody has experience of money went missing after transfer using boost? Thank you |
