thank you Sir. got to call them and ask if can change the auto billing to my card as the ASTRO account is in my wife's name.
Definitely can. Our ASTRO is registered under my mom's name but the bill is billed to my credit card every month.

Mean that I better arrange like this?

Digi RM 200+ go to OCBC Ti
Petrol RM 500+ go to OCBC Ti
Utility Bill (TNB+TM+Water) RM 200+ go to OCBC Ti

Seem like full load of RM 1k, then others go to MB2 Amex 5X TP + Weekend 5% Cash Rebate.
15% Cash Rebate offer seem like not valid in Melaka.

erry:

I been consider for the PBB Esso card, but not much benefit after 31/3. seem like pay extra for the GST 50 and only benefit 2 mths. hmm.gif
*
yes thats the way ur OCBC should be.

the PBB esso, i spend about rm520/month, 1 year can get back rm187.20 already (exluded extra 3% promo).
minus gst rm50, still got profit rm137.20 ~ not bad notworthy.gif

Did anyone notice a sentence in MBB homepage saying "Maybank to aim 20% growth in card base" something like that?
Guess MBB already started the war with this Maybankard2.

Guys, is it common practice for sales staff to check your signature when you sign off something? I just wonder if they don't believe young person can get CC early.

Nowadays is common even for young children to have Visa or MasterCard debit cards e.g. my children age 10 and 13, and the sales staff never ask anything when they purchase stuff with their Visa Debit Card.

To read more on chidren debit card Click here to my blog on HLB Junior Debit Cards for children under 12.

As for checking the signature, well nowadays we have Visa Wave and MasterCard Paypass where you don't even need to sign on the transaction slip. However, these cards emit radio frequency where others can retrieve info from your card.

To read more and see a video on security risk with having a Visa Wave or MC PayPass click here.

The 3% Rebate for OCBC Titanium for Internet Banking's actual value is 5%, based on my calculation on all OCBC Internet Banking transactions. Basically that's the 3%+2% special offer period. I get 5% even I didn't get the special email invite.

OCBC really rocks !!!! Managed to save 10% on my utility bills !!!  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

I just saw the description as 3% rebate totaling RM327+ in my unbilled transactions.

I thought max cap per person is RM200?

how to save 10% on utility bills? mind to share?

If there is no transaction after your RM50 GST is charged to your card (means visible in your transaction history already), you can op to not pay the GST when you ask for a cancellation of that card.

I've done that twice with MBB.
*
After getting MBB2 Amex and OCBC Ti, I don't think will use current MBB Petronas Visa any more....so, possible can waive the GST 50 right?

If excluded extra 3% promo, better use OCBC Ti for 5% every time....don't need worry for the tier....
am I right?

No ...GST not waiveable. And MBB is not the kind who is very generous about GST. (Virtually close to impossible)
You better cancel off your cards if you have no intention to use it.

the maybank2cards.. since it has two cards.. theoretically there is a rm100 government tax on it. but according to their term sheet. 50 bucks is waived. so does that mean we still hv to pay rm50 for both cards annually?

21-1: Application through phone without submitting any documents
27-1: Called MBB CS but was information my application was not in the system
28-1: Called MBB CS and was informed my application has been approved, but they were Gold cards instead. I asked them to change both cards to Platinum
Today 29-1: Called MBB CS again. This time I was told my application was in process. No cards have been approved yet. doh.gif

I guess they have removed the Gold cards in their system and they are now reprocessing my application.
