the maybank2cards.. since it has two cards.. theoretically there is a rm100 government tax on it. but according to their term sheet. 50 bucks is waived. so does that mean we still hv to pay rm50 for both cards annually?

hmmm wondering... i jus got my ocbc statement.. statement date is 12th of feb. but i received and activated my card on the 26th jan.. isnt it supposed to be a month in between.
it bugs me cause i am planning my spending cap on this card carefully to waive the 50 bucks gst. which in this instance didnt give me the appropriate time to spend 1k.
can i change the statement date? tried calling but CS said only tmr shift can help me with it..
oh.. pav parkson only has 1% rebate. not 5%

QUOTE(milentechie @ Feb 18 2011, 08:33 AM) I also have the same statement date as you. I activated my card last Saturday. Yesterday, I was surprised to receive a letter from OCBC asking me to confirm if I have charged my first transaction on the card. Good security. I called CS and requested to change the date. But, CS asked me to settle this month balance first i.e. RM50 (GST) and then called them back to request. agreed. i called thm up today thy said thy could only if rm50 is paid. trying to puch it further to mimic my citi card which i am going to cancel soon.. maybank is prosessing my application super slowly... =( too many appplicants d
