wonder if we can convert existing maybank cc and amex gold cc to these 2 cards without the need to apply and submit application again?

Just checked with CS. Can convert without the need to reapply. Just go to branch and submit the conversion form.

it seems to me that you do not understand the reply. Even you are using new card to apply but lack of transactions, they still can access your records with other cards you have before. From there, they will review your credit history.

Can't believe that maybank is too efficient nowadays.

This morning my maybank2u shown Maybankard 2 Visa and Amex there.

Just 1 week they took to approve.

Thx for the pic. In fact, I have received Maybankard 2 Amex.

The previous one I own is the gold colour.

Thinking to cancel the previous amex and not sure whether they are difference which are identical or not.
