QUOTE(Lester1987 @ Mar 27 2011, 11:37 PM) oh ya, when u wanna recontract phone line or subscribe to anything, they will ask for ur passport also. EP alone is not good enough. like if u go RWS or MBS, even with the EP u can enter casino, but if u wanna apply for their member card, you still need to show the your passport. Applied mine without passport...hmmmAdded on March 28, 2011, 12:05 am QUOTE(mercury8400 @ Mar 27 2011, 10:47 PM) Dude, I consider myself trifty but yr bordering on insane man. QUOTE(bellion @ Mar 26 2011, 08:57 PM) Utterly wrong. Totally agree !!.. Singapore is a regional hub for services and high-end manufacturing with a very distinct international flavour in its corporate culture, even for Singapore-bred companies. Malaysian companies can provide nothing of that sort. in service many industry that I observed... back in Malaysia, you get chances of travelling domestically but in Singapore almost all are working internationally .. and fly internationally. |

Hey guys , I got offered with SGD 2.3k but with 2 years bond ... It's a shipyard company ...
Personally, I am expecting atleast 2.5k which eligible for me to apply for EP . I think this employer is not going to apply EP for me given that range of salary ? Btw, Im fresh graduate with master but only has internship as working experience. Do you think I am underpaid given that I have to be bonded with the company for 2 years ? ... |

Do you think I am underpaid given that I have to be bonded with the company for 2 years ? What are your other options available to you? If you have better options, then you are underpaid and should choose the better option. If your other options are worse or you have no other options - then there's no question about being underpaid. |

Good to take the 2 years bond @ 2.3k for wiping table only, all those food court cleaner get less than that. If you can do real engineering works then you should do some analytical thinking here. |

I only have a bachelor eng degree. Don't take my after confirmation salary as an absolute figure. My boss was happy with my performance so he gave me a 10% increment. Yours may vary. |
