Doesn't tighter spread means better rates? IE the rates they offer is closer to the actual exchange rate.

The bonus will be added into your gross income for the year which will be stated in the IR8A form. This form will be provided to you from your company or whoever's paying your salary. For the CPF part I'm not too sure, but logically if the company do deducts the CPF from your bonus then YES the company should also contribute to your CPF as well

Hi. I will be going to Singapore for a contract staff job at bank. Thinking to apply a PR straight away after i m there. Do u think the chance of me getting the PR is higher?

why is the work permits/EP getting rejected? i thought your employer applies them for you mean they are planning to hired you right?

btw been wondering do the employer applies for your the EP after you sign your offer letter or before?

There are 3 type of food that cannot be eaten that I experience in SG while working here, it's just damn yucky:-

1) Chau Kuew Tiew (Why so sweet??.. put sugar ah to fry ah?)
2) 酸甘汁 aka lemon+plum drink - walao, it is too sour+abit of bitter! Cant compare to Malaysia's style
3) Tomyam - real yucky (Tomyam in SG is the worst).. Apparently, every hawker serve the same yucky tomyam.

BUT SG do serve good BKT and Kuey Chap (cannot be found in KL).

Have you tried the bak kut teh in Balestier ? I think it really taste more like pepper soup. Any bak kut teh shop in Jb taste better than that. But still i go back there hahaha. Also have u notice the hawkers here like to put a lot of black sauce . I notice they have alot of that sweet black sauce in to their chay koay teow . I dont think it even looked right to begin with.

i dun think is SG got BKt in fact (meat bone tea) at all, cos they dun have herbs (aka, cha = tea)

CKT in bedok block 16 is not bad, comparable to Msiain general, but still not as good as Penang in particular. definitely no tomato sauce, no sugar, no funny stuff.

kuey chap until now never tried. btw, got kuey chap in KL? or its only in SG?

food here not bad, just diff from Msia

stress level is 3x more compare to m'sia

1) Aug 2009 - rejected on Nov 2009 
2) Jun 2010 - rejected on Dec 2010 
3) appeal  hopefully this time will be approved...

Is this correct? I heard about it and I've tried to search thru HDB website, but I only saw the single 35 yrs old criteria to buy resale HDB is for Citizen only.  PR still nid to get married.

not using the green card to insert slot but use your passport and scan it...the card need to pay 1..

i'm pr right now but looking to apply for citizenship.. then can get BTO hdb as well as benefits since i'm gonna be a father soon... i guess its bye bye malaysia probably 

i think i will only apply PR just for buying a HDB as an investment in singapore. I still dun think singapore is a good place for kids.
