Step 4 Extract the software you downloaded from step 1 and copy the following folders Drive,Maps,Res & SetupMobileMaps into the main directory of your mass storage


Step 5 The file you downloaded from step 2 extract and replace the MAPS folder in mass storage directory

Step 6 Download this file http://www.megaupload.com/?d=W2DZ4OEL then copy the sygic-galedo.install into your phone and run it from your nokia n900 file manager

Step 7 The file you copied SetupMobileMaps from step 4 run the installer using your nokia N900 file manager. After installation you notice threre will be an update for your sygic software

15)In order to unmount the device you can simply close the h-e-n application.

Notes:
The h-e-n application must be running as long as you want the storage device to run.

After setting all the files,next time if you want to use your storage device you just have to follow step 11 to 15.It’s quite easy to use OTG now.

The reason why NTFS mounting different is because this file format is developed by Microsoft & normally not supported under Linux.Different mounting command needed to do this.

In case you’re stuck under reboot loop after installing kernel power v45 use the following command to flash your phone.I’m assuming you’re following the frontpage method of flashing so I’ll be using R.bin as image name.

transfer the relevant game folder within 'applications' folder from ur pre to '/home/user/'

if you only have the ipk file ( similiar to the apk files for android ), unzip with 7-zip and you should have the relevant game folders you need to transfer to your n900.

next open up xterm again and type:
sudo gainroot

preenv

( or if its still open )

cd /home/user/applications/'name of game folder'.

chmod +rwx 'name of the game' (for example, need for speed would be nfsuc)

To create a desktop icon type the added line:

desktopgen appinfo.json

then just select the icon from your normal menu like a native game/app

Note 1 : For NSFU when in car purchase/car select screen, to exit have to tap the return button multiple times like a woodpecker, must be a bug due to multi-touch reqs

6. Depending on your microSD speed, and size..it'll take at least 2 minutes to display the result..

Step 3 Copy the video to /usr/share/hildon-welcome/media

Go to your app manager and you installl the rootsh package which will allow you to hack ur system in root previlleges .

Then you open your terminal and you type exactely the following :

"sudo gainroot"

If you need to to reinstall nokia messaging :

"apt-get update"

Then

"apt-get install --reinstall nokiamessaging"

If you dont have nokia massaging and you need to reinstall it :

"apt-get update"

Then

"apt-get install nokiamessaging"

If you need to reinstall all the nokia mail client system simply do :

"apt-get update"

Then

"apt-get install --reinstall modest"

Step 6 - Now Type the whole 192.168.1.xxx and port 8888 into Listen on (in foobar http control preference page). Then tick Start Server.

1)Open X-Terminal

3)Type “dpkg –i nitdroid-installer_0.2.7_armel.deb”

You can change the booting sequence from item file list but I’ll keep it for another day.

Restart the phone.Cry if NITDroid didn’t load & come back & post here what’s your problem or if NITDroid do work perfectly ask you girlfriend to stay at home today as you want to play with your rebranded phone.

NITDroid v0.0.8 will automatically overlock N900 to 700MHz.
But for those who want more “kick” the following are the method to overclock the NITDroid.This is done using titans kernel & you have to boot to Maemo.

As usual start the godly X-Terminal
1)Type “sudo gainroot”
2)Type “mount /dev/mmcblk1p2 / and”
3)Type “leafpad /and/system/etc/power.conf” – This is assuming you do have leafpad installed
4)This is the tricky part

By default the max/min should be like this :

1)Register for gmail.If you already have it you can skip this step.
2)Open Android Market.Login with your gmail account.
3)Search for "File Manager" app under Applications tab.
4)Click it & the file will be added to the download list(something like fapman)
5)Go to download tab to initiate download.
6)Make sure you save the .apk file in the sd card or N900 emmc(in my case it seems the sd card unmountable so I have to save the file to N900's emmc)
7)Navigate through the File Manager to the .apk file.
8)Tap it & follow the rest instructions.
