huzzah guys!,
I'm testing myself with beta usb-otg..wonder still not working with my usb drive.
then, my pl-11 coming in from poslaju, wanna take a pic with fcam and "oh my, otg dun have fcam drivers yet. so i'm gonna remove this app. Guess wat, after remove, I'm granting myself a rootfs reflash due to reboot loop rclxms.gif

lucky I got a backup last saturday which nothing to lose right now (apart from losing time to redownload all apps back, sigh)

anyways, any steps can be taken other than reflash or "u should study, google blablabla"? wonder if can access command line to reinstall vanilla kernel back which sound impossible to say. LOL

Ok, probably the solution might be reflash the kernel only:

sudo ./flasher-3.5 -F <firmware-image> --flash-only=kernel -f -R (yeah, I know its in linux LOL).

windows will be liek this

flasher-3.5.exe -F R.bin --flash-only=kernel -f -R

Anyone can verify this is correct?

With kamikaze style i had in heart, I run the command and voila!
its alive!

perhaps Super_Evil update the command for kernel reflash on FP? or izzit already there? whistling.gif

@mwirs77: tried gnumeric already?

@Super_Evil_Alien

I think I know the root cause of my reboot loop..It's just the same way to remove OC kernel. DO NOT UNINSTALL directly. Just reinstall vanilla kernel back then remove the h-e-n package. My fault was uninstalling directly and reboot which caused no kernel to boot. Luckily the flasher command I tried on my previous post works charm without need to lose everything rolleyes.gif

mind telling where u bought the XP1000?
*
I bought that pack at cineleisure..There's a large IT shops over there i forgot the name edi..they have all model of energizer charger pack. From there I found they also selling the model that comes with solar panel. the price almost rm300 rclxub.gif

oh yes, I wanna add something regarding XP-1000. since it only for 1 time charge, that means you cannot unplug the pack.once unplug, it kenot continue charge edi. Plus, the pack getting warm when charging the phone. Nice thing is it comes with a puch and multiple adapter to support with and you can request the adapter tip for free! rclxms.gif

what about XP2000? is it the same(after unplug then kenot charge)?

the adapter tip, request from the shop or energizer? jz nw i checked their website, have to pay min $ for handling and shipment fees(how to pay ar?).

im not sure bout XP2000 model. But the model represents capacity the battery have (2000mAh). So, it will be possible to handle 2x charges. I'm not sure bout shipment fees for extra tips. BTW, the tips provided contains microUSB, nokia bold & pin type tip and miniUSB iinm.

To speedup charge the pack, u can use our N900 charger too instead of charging via PC biggrin.gif

I think documents was renamed to ".documents" in xterm..

oh yes, those "." was applied to the folder which you saw in windows when connected as mass storage(ie video, audio, image..).

@cartman: dun have to be like dat lol.. I faced same as your problem before, i issue the command "ls -al" and found the real name.."ls" command not list up the hidden files/folders i think.

@shrugslova: seems like the installer running. my solution is to reboot..or, if you can find the installer process name in conky/top. find is PID and run command "kill <PID of installer process>"

btw top is already inside the os. just type "top" in xterm and you have it. press q to quit. =)

@cartman: i experience this problem oso..there's a slight editing on avahi config.

>>root

>>nano /var/lib/dpkg/info/account-plugin-salut.postinst
@
>>leafpad /var/lib/dpkg/info/account-plugin-salut.postinst

next, change "/etc/init.d/avahi-daemon start"

to "#/etc/init.d/avahi-daemon start" (notice the # at the front line)

and save..no more buzzing with this error =)
