u forgot change v7 to v8 again

first, mind telling me how do u install it? thru app manager or offline using .deb files? i'm using offline install.

wat i did is from setting, go language & region, change device language (scroll to the most bottom, u should see 3 new language chinese (hong kong), chinese (PRC) and chinese (taiwan)) switch to either 1, then restart ur phone

now open a notepad or conversation, hold ctrl + space (not the blue arrow, its spacebar) to activate
if u're on pinyin mode, u wont see any diff until u started typing, if u're on handwriting mode, then a box should appear at ur bottom right screen

If it works, then feel free to change back to english language (well, u'll hav to change back even if it doesnt work lolz)

just noticed new thing...pressing shift + ctrl will switch between input mode...din know that before

i just installed mscim yesterday...now its working perfectly well, and yes, it still crushes the virtual keyboard on PR1.3
but i dun mind thou, prefer the physical keyboard

sory forgot to mention tat...it WILL CRASH the virtual keyboard!!

flashing is fun bro~~ and it just take like...2 minutes?

just follow the guide at the 1st page...steps 1 to 10...very simple

well, tats somewhat true it took slightly longer to boot up after flashing lolz...but just that 1 time

erm, guys, is the ram usage normal? i feel like its too high...

coz of ur siggy lolz...& oso bcoz i'm at uni sydney XD

i guess its the same as the ram & cpu usage of ur pc/laptop...each process will consume ram & if ur device (in this case n900) do not have sufficient ram for the process/application, the phone will start to lag, imagine u installed vista ultimate 64 bit with just 512mb ram...well, the same goes to cpu usage...

u can try installing mscim?

i've posted the link somewhere before page 22 i guess...
juz bear in mind u wont be able to use virtual keyboard after installing it
