Yes 4% is ok. Banyak jugak....
*
Restarting all okay?

Yeah 4% is a big difference. The libraries are always the biggest part in root more with the more apps installed.

The moveroot script still works like a charm though but do use with care...

yes. i have...

Ok most likely your menu file is corrupted.

Using Putty go into your phone's terminal and delete the hildon.menu file

CODE
rm -f /home/user/.config/menus/hildon.menu

After you reboot, it should regenerate the original file. Hope this helps wink.gif

Seems a bit less script but since you mentioned about using with care...  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

Well I used it many times with no problems. Freed up about 10%, basically it moves the nokia maps stuff and local information. However the coution is that for some moving the locales results in a broken UI cause the locale info is missing.

@zhlly4eae

Your app menu is corrupted. Follow the instructions I set.
Search google and download putty. Login to your phone IP. Login info should be the one set when you installed ssh server.

_____________________
Okay, I am feeling generous today, some instructions
1. Get Putty.exe from here (http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/putty.exe)
2. Put it anywhere on your desktop.
3. Try to get the WLAN IP of your N900, your router page might list it.
4. Using Putty.exe, input the IP of your N900 and enter
5. Login using your SSH password, Login ID is "root" while the password would be the one you set on your N900 when you installed SSH Server
6. Do the edits below:-
CODE
rm -f /home/user/.config/menus/hildon.menu

Alternatively, you can add a shortcut to terminal on your desktop if still possible. Then do step 6 via the terminal, after gaining root of course via 'sudo gainroot"

With Putty we have to connect our phone with USB cable then only it works right ?
*
No it works through LAN, must be connected via WLAN.

1. You need to install SSH server & client on your N900 ( I use Open SSH)
2. You need to know the IP of you N900

*
Just follow rest of the steps wink.gif Seems to be pretty clear, you dont need to install anything on N900 if you already got SSH server installed. Just login to your N900 via putty and do step 6

Added on November 5, 2010, 12:08 am@ meLi: Yea, seems I need to install the plugins via the facebook installer. I just kicked it off after I flashed to PR1.3 lol No wonder nothing there

Try restating, usually when another process is working in the background, it will give such errors.

When this happens to me, usually I just wait a while, then should be okay wink.gif

I believe different ext numbers refers to different partition.

No ext3 is a newer file system format. The latest one currently is ext4

Something like FAT, FAT32 and NTFS

How many dependcies does it need?
*
it needs kernel-power flasher and kernel-power modules. The thing is I cant even install these packages individual, they fail as incompatible packages... Guess I am stuck with v37 now sad.gif

Added on November 10, 2010, 3:52 pmOh yeah it seems the new kernel power is incompatible with FCAM Drivers. Uninstalling that would make it work like normal.

Most likely cause they dont want you to remove the apps or something. At least Win7 Mobile has an SD card, Apple doesnt even provide one lol
