QUOTE(ronnie @ Oct 28 2010, 09:42 AM) Are you a heavy user of the SCB card ? As for me, I didn't use their SCB card after finishing off my Free cash from them ;-) Not really, I didn’t use the card after the August promotion. Mainly OCBC now.QUOTE(de.crystal @ Oct 28 2010, 10:11 AM) is it applicable to all merchants or selected once only? It is applicable to ANY transaction. QUOTE(ck3lam @ Oct 28 2010, 09:32 AM) SCB promotion. But as I see the T&C for the cashback eligibility, there are some points to note: This particular line shows that this offer is not for everyone.- Your acc must be in good standing (as usual) - Any retail transaction from 1-Nov to 30-Nov (posted by the merchant and received by SCB) - Max capped at RM50 (Principle and Sup share the same) - Cashback credited by 30-Dec - Valid for the addressee of this letter only (So maybe it’s not a general promotion, but we will see whether SCB will advertise it at the end of this month or not in their website.) Are you holding the Platinum or Gold SCB card ? |

QUOTE(Marcian @ Oct 28 2010, 07:56 AM) So it's good customer service if they ask lots more questions? What cards you're holding, how much are your limits, what's your mother's name, etc, (even though they have all this info) to make you feel more important? Hi Marcian, I won't feel offended. Don't worry but I think hor , the proper way of asking me will be good. Seem a bad service to me because only ask 1 question Don't be offended.. I just don't understand the logic, that's all... |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Oct 28 2010, 09:17 AM) Trying "utilise" OCBC Titanium 0% Interest until 31 Dec 2010. Is there an overlap on these two benefits? Here's my scenario Statement Date: 15 Oct 2010, Amount Due: RM10000 Minimum Paid: RM500 1. No Interest is charged on RM9500, right ? Statement Date: 15 Nov 2010, Amount Due: RM10000 + RM9500 Minimum Paid: RM975 2. No Interest is charged on RM18525, right ? Statement Date: 15 Dec 2010, Amount Due: RM1475 + RM18525 Minimum Paid: RM1000 3. No Interest is charged on RM19000, right ? Is the above 3 statements (1)/(2)/(3) correct ? We should settle all outstanding before 31 Dec 2010, right ? 1. 0% interest free period from now till 31-dec-2010. 2. 50% rebate on interest paid from now till 31-july-2011. How would OCBC treat retail transactions between 15-dec to 14-Jan-2011? |

QUOTE(MGM @ Oct 28 2010, 11:17 AM) Is there an overlap on these two benefits? My understanding 1) applies to retails transactions. 2) only applies from 1 Jan 2011 for retail transactions. Maybe BT and Cash Advance applies from now.1. 0% interest free period from now till 31-dec-2010. 2. 50% rebate on interest paid from now till 31-july-2011. How would OCBC treat retail transactions between 15-dec to 14-Jan-2011? transactions from 15dec to 14 Jan 2011 should be interest free as long as u settled the entire statement amount cfor 14Dec2010 before the due date. Else u get charged interest from 1Jan2011 to 14Jan2011 (which 50% can be rebated). |

You couldn't do any transaction with OCBC credit card from Dec 16th to Jan 15th or interest will be charged to those transaction since your Dec statement outstanding is not zero. Or you will have to settle all outstanding (including those transaction between Dec 16th to 31st Dec) on or before Dec 31st and not doing any transaction from jan 1st to Jan 15th.Here's my scenario Statement Date: 15 Oct 2010, Amount Due: RM10000 Minimum Paid: RM500 1. Just settle everthing in full before Dec31 for the amount shown in the Dec 15 statement. For my case, once I get my December 11 statement, going to BT 90% of outstanding immediately to DA and settle the balance with OCBC before Christmas. Kiasu a bit in case got hiccups due to BT documentations. |

Hahahahaha .....Let me put it this way ... despite the hype, the AA CC card will fell short of expectations. This has been shared with a fellow visitor to this thread. Read the previous post boys .... don't be lazy. I kept on mentioning this. |
