How do I take advantage of the OCBC TITANIUM 0% credit card interest until 31-dec-2010?
Does it mean that I can accumulate my credit card balance until 31-dec-2010 only then I paid the accumulated amount and there wont be any interest or charges incurred?
Sorry that this might be silly question to some.

You still need to pay the 5% or RM50 as the minimum due for the month.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

5% OR RM50 whichever is higher?

You mean just settle the amount based on the above on 31-oct and 30-nov and
settle the total accumulated amount on the 31-dec without any interest and late charges incurred?

example:
oct spending rm2000, pay 5%*2000=rm100 on 31-oct
nov spending rm4000, pay 5%*(2000-100+4000)=RM295 on 30-nov
dec spending rm3000, pay (2000-100+4000-295+3000)=rm8605 on 31-dec

Is this way to calculate?

Your calculation is good but you can't use your credit card from Jan 1st to your statement date.
Or else interest will be changed on your transaction (from Jan 1st to statement date) as you are not entitle to 20-days interest free period (since your previous month outstanding balance is not zero).

Thanks Roy918.
So for the period of 12-12-2010 to 11-1-2011(statement date) as long as I dont do any transaction btw 1-1-2011 to 11-1-2011, I do not to need to incur any interest and charges or late fees.

Was looking at my OCBC statement, and just realized I got charged interest. Although the bulk of the interest was reversed off due to the 0% interest promotion, there is a portion of interest that was not. A call to the CS gives me the answer: "This is the interest on the GST, which is not covered by the 0% promotion".

I asked them to waive as I made more than the minimum payment to even cover the GST in full.

Anyone have the same problem?

DID U manage to get interest on the GST waived?

I call the CS to enquire about the same situation and they reply that as long as u pay the minimum payment no interest will be charge on the GST.

Trying "utilise" OCBC Titanium 0% Interest until 31 Dec 2010.
Here's my scenario

Statement Date: 15 Oct 2010,
Amount Due: RM10000
Minimum Paid: RM500
1. No Interest is charged on RM9500, right ?

Statement Date: 15 Nov 2010,
Amount Due: RM10000 + RM9500
Minimum Paid: RM975
2. No Interest is charged on RM18525, right ?

Statement Date: 15 Dec 2010,
Amount Due: RM1475 + RM18525
Minimum Paid: RM1000
3. No Interest is charged on RM19000, right ?

Is the above 3 statements (1)/(2)/(3) correct ?
We should settle all outstanding before 31 Dec 2010, right ?
*
Is there an overlap on these two benefits?
1. 0% interest free period from now till 31-dec-2010.
2. 50% rebate on interest paid from now till 31-july-2011.

How would OCBC treat retail transactions between 15-dec to 14-Jan-2011?

Need help from anyone who has tackled this situation below:

I signed up for TELEKOM BILL autopay using CITIBANK CASH REBATE PLATINUM which does not give rebate and need to committed to it until 31/12/10 (ie. cannot cancel this autopay before 31/12/10). If I were to pay the TM bills using OCBC Titanium+OCBC internet-banking everytime before the CITIBANK PLATINUM make the auto payment would the citibank autopay still goes thru?

Received this email from OCBC... anyone get this too?
"Get up to 10% rebate on your bills with OCBC Internet Banking!"

It mentioned only for selected customers....
*
Got it too on 15-11-2010.

Do we need to activate anything for this bonus offer like call the CS?
The cap on this two rebates (3% extra rebate+2% bonus rebate) is RM200+RM100, which works out to be for a total utilities bill of rm6000.

I like the item on 2.1 below, as it covers all the bills paid using internet banking from 29-sept onwards, YIPPIE.

Terms and Conditions Governing the OCBC Internet Banking Bill Payment Rebate Campaign
(3% Rebate + exclusive 2% Bonus Rebate for selected OCBC customers)
1. The Campaign
1.1
The OCBC Bill Payment Campaign (“Campaign”) offers 3% rebate (“3% Rebate”) for selected bills paid through OCBC Internet Banking and Mobile Banking. In addition to the 3% Rebate, a bonus rebate of 2% (“Bonus Rebate”) is exclusively offered to selected customers who are invited via email to make billpayment via OCBC Internet or Mobile banking.
2. Campaign Period
2.1 The Campaign Period shall be between 29 September and 31 December 2010 (both dates inclusive) (“CampaignPeriod”) or such other period as may be determined by OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad (“OCBC”) in its absolute discretion.

Been trying to add Syarikat Air Johor in <Bill Payment - Register Payee> for OCBC internet banking but always get "Validation Error". Anybody successfully add this into Payee List?
