Just to clarify, I've paid bills using payonline.com.my and in the statement it reflects the payment to the actual payee (eg Telekom Malaysia) and got 5%.

Have only tried it for TM Unifi and Metrofon though, since for other more popular vendors you actually can get 8% or more paying using OCBC's Internet Banking with your Titanium.

Both credit card and debit (prepaid) card actually.

Just found out that Maybank Visa Platinum awarded 2x points for my birthday month last month. I don't know anything about this promotion at all.

Good news for those who wanted to apply for Maybank World Mastercard before but didn't due to the hefty annual fees:

Annual fee for the normal world mastercard (without golden lounge privilege - RM 1000) will be waived for expenditure of RM 100k and above in a calendar year.

As for the RM 1500 annual fees with golden lounge privilege, it can be waived if you spend RM 250k or more.

Just one curious question to ask, does the cimb CC has the same benefits as Direct access?Any differences between these two card privileges and benefits? Helping one of my fren ask.

eh? i did that. no problem. tmpoint kajang. paid using cc for tm streamyx combo under 3 different names. but i do bring the paper bill (not just give the account num). the cashier not even ask who are the bill owner

if, cashier dont know that DA is under CIMB, show the back of the card - below the signature, got word "CIMB" there

but he means cannot pay other utilities bill at tmpoint using cc.
