All the TM Points i've been to all stated payment by credit card is accepted only for TM bills. So i believe you can't pay for Syabas bill using credit card at TM Point either

Hi all, i got 2 questions regarding balance transfer.
1) I subscribed an iphone4 plan at digi with third party credit card and i wish to transfer the balance to my own card now, but the problem is the third party credit card and mine are from different bank. Will this be a problem when i try to do the balance transfer at third party credit card bank? 2) Where do i do the balance transfer, is it at my credit card bank or the third party credit card bank? Thanks for all the reply. Must appreciated... |

The idea of BT is to transfer outstanding amount from one CC to another CC from another bank subjected to min transfer amount and fee/interest (based on tenure/promo). The BT application should be applied at the CC bank where you intended to transfer the outstanding TO. This post has been edited by David83: Nov 30 2010, 07:58 AM |

QUOTE(rockefeller @ Nov 29 2010, 11:01 PM) Good news for those who wanted to apply for Maybank World Mastercard before but didn't due to the hefty annual fees: Annual fee for the normal world mastercard (without golden lounge privilege - RM 1000) will be waived for expenditure of RM 100k and above in a calendar year. As for the RM 1500 annual fees with golden lounge privilege, it can be waived if you spend RM 250k or more. Really? source from? Any b&W statement? |

QUOTE(leozai @ Nov 30 2010, 12:04 PM) haha... sry mah.. really no idea who it works... cuz i tot CDM only can type 12 digit de account number If u happen to use cimb cdm, remember it is not a deposit trxn but a bill payment trxn. I've seen and advised many regarding the trick.>.<" If u choose deposit, u'll never can key in the 16-digit number. Only 'bill payment --> credit card' works. |

Alternatively, just insert your credit card into the cash deposit machine card slot

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Nov 30 2010, 01:14 PM) Inserting cc into a CDM adds a risk of 'stuck'. When ur cc is stuck at non-working hours, u have no choice but report to card centre (lost or stuck?)(telco fees??)and risk your card being stolen or fraud by experienced syndicates. Therefore it is not advised to do so. |

The newer generation Wincor Nixdorf is designed to retain your card only if you've keyed in the wrong PIN for 3 times (unless set differently by the ATM operator). New ATM nowadays is also designed to eject your card automatically if there is something wrong with the ATM or power failure in the middle of a transaction By the way, card stuck in the machine also rarely happens unless you are talking about the old NCR cash deposit machines and cash withdrawal machines. I had unpleasant experience when making cash repayment with cc inserted. That goddxxx CDM must be from NCR. went to OCBC(Seremban) to make my first cc repayment by cheque and was shocked to find that ocbc is still employing envelope-type cheque deposit machine. Luckily deposit slip was sufficient and pen was provided. |

Alternatively, you could memorize your cc number. If you have a lot than I can't help you lol. Just remember to keep the cash deposit slip at least until your next e-statement.
I have learned the hard way. However I was fortunate enough to remember the date and time I put it in and they credit it in the end. Probably system failure but keeping the slip will save you all the hassle. |
