out of curiosity, for a 23 y.o fresh grad who earns RM 2,500 monthly and applying for her first card, is RM 10,000 CL considered fair or high?

What card you applying, as far as I remember there is no column for guarantor in application form.

It should take less than 14 days after it has been approved. The officer most probably told you 14 days to play safe.
*
oh.icic.From the day i receive the call, it already 10 days passed. Wonder i will get my pre-approved card or not. hmm.gif

That time when I collect it, it only came with a card.

However for Ikhwan AMEX, it came with some brochures to explain about Islamic Banking and Islamic features of the CC.

Oh.icic.No brochures at all?mine one got brochures regarding the term and conditions of CC and also the application form for takaful. That day i also got apply for maybank Touch and Go Zing card when i apply for my maybank Petronas visa gold, but today when i go collect,it says that i didnt apply the Zing Card. Then I have to wait for 2 weeks to get my Zing Card. Do you apply Zing card on the same time u apply Maybank Petronas Visa?

I didn't apply the Zing card. I feel that the fee is relatively expensive. RM 2 per reload.
*
Icic. The Zing Card is for Touch and Go purpose only. Got any other usage of Zing Card?Do you find the Petronas Visa Gold Card useful?

Visa is my backup CC in case AMEX cannot go through or not acceptable.

I have plenty of auto debit to my Visa.

Apart from the 5x TP at Petroans, it's not really a very attractive CC in the market as compared to other siblings in Maybank offerings or other banks.
*
Other than that, is just like normal maybank CC. But one thing is that its annual fee is free for life. Very weird that other Maybank CC still collect annual fees?issit possible that normal Maybank CC annual fee is waivable?
