I will strongly recommend Asus RT-N16. It is a very powerful wireless router at entry level pricing.

It has 480MHz CPU, 128MB RAM & 32MB Flash. BTW, it also support 3rd party firmware such as DD-WRT and Tomato.

It has 2 USB which can be an alternative NAS and all in one printer server.

Same here, but his budget is only RM200. tongue.gif

infact I still need comparison between its cpu with Atheros 680Mhz ones.

Do they do the site check to see where to pull the cable on the day before of the installation or on the installation day itself?

I have the following, i bought just to test if it can work with Unifi. It was successful. So now want to sell.

New D-Link DIR825 for sale @ RM300, flashed with DD-WRT can be used with Unifi (PPPoE only, I can setup IPTV for you with additional 5port switch). Has USB port can be used as print server, NAS or backup 3G USB Modem connection.

If i posted this in the wrong place, i'm sorry please let me know which thread? Tks.

I would recommend TP Link TL-WR941N, it's one of the cheapest (RM130 - RM 140) internet router, 300M wireless N router which also suport dd-wrt. Please google around for the review.

I have followed the step-by-step procedure (customized router) as well written by Riz, it's pretty easy and straight forward setup.

Hope it helps.

You can refer to this link http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1502636/+2000. wcewong had once share his setup for RB750G via Telnet command.

BTW, where you buy your RB750G? Landasan Teknologi at Kelana Jaya. How much is it?
*
That telnet command meant for masquerade. That was already done. I was more into the setup of ethernet, vlan (or bridging). Need to resolve that one first. Masquerade works fine and my network can reach outside to internet, just the IPTV.

Yes, i've got it from landasan $310.

Thanks.

If i flash the WR941N router with dd-wrt, i can still use the vlan bridge (the original unifi-supplied DIR-615) to power my iptv, right?

Also, anyone here uses UNIFI for xbox360 gaming? is it faster than Streamyx? i'm itching to play Halo:Reach multiplayer... thanks guys.

Wrong ! If you read Riz's guide carefully, if you flash dd-wrt, you may lost the iptv setting (attach riz's guide of dd-wrt 615 if you have not read it).

I just have vlan bridge between DIR-615 and WR941N. The combo works flawlessly. I did not do dd-wrt flashing.

edit: attached Riz's guide on DD-WRT

Dude he was saying that he was gonna use his router and then using the TM router as a vlan bridge. Did you read the sentence carefully?

do not stack up your equipment as i know, the btu/set top/ dir615 operate temperature very hot, keep it in standing position for all and make sure in open space area..
on first day instalation i stack all equipment and put it in a place not very well circulated i face frequent dc/ hang..
when i touch every each equipment damn its hot..so after standing it up seem like all trouble free and smooth sailing until now,24/7 download full speed for past 2-3 weeks.
