Just received a call from OCBC CS. My pending application problem is cause by my billing address in CC application form is different from the record in their system. Last year I applied OCBC home loan using my old home address, now is new house address. After address is updated, CS ask me to check my application status next week. 

It's a shame they did not call me to reconfirm my address. Instead they choose to left my application on pending recommendation status. 
If I did not call in to complain, I dont know how long do I need to wait. This is my 3rd complain to CS btw.

"Your finance charge is only 9% p.a. for the first 12 months, and thereafter it is subject to your payment behavior in accordance with Bank Negara tier interest guidelines. If you consistently make minimum payment every month, the finance charge remains at 9% throughout the tenure of the card."

does this means i must pay the exact minimum amount stated in order to enjoy 9% interests? Or can i pay more than that?

I think mine will be rejected too.. no news from them.

Well my OCBC Titanium approved on 2 Sep, card only reached me on 17 Sep. And RM50 GST already charged on 11 Sep.

Blame Post Malaysia for the delays. My UOB statement on the 5th only reached me today (21 Sep) and I have to make payment by this week.

Anyway, UOB got free gift based on expenditure, but it depends on who sent out the sms first on every 2nd of the month starting from 9am

The gifts per month are as follows
10 Paymond Weil monthly for above RM8K
10 HP Mini and 20 Samsung Camera for RM6000-RM7,999
30 Trolley Bags for RM4,000-5,999
and 10,000 UniRiggit for first 1,000 customer to sms minimum spending RM2,500

Credit Card at petrol pump

Beware when using credit card to fill petrol. Just got to know about this case through a friend that this thing actually happened to one of his co-workers.

She used her credit card to purchase gas at the pump (like most of us do). She received her receipt like normal. However, when she checked her statement, there were 2 x RM50 charges added in addition to her purchase.

Upon investigation, she found out that because she did not press the 'CLEAR ' button at the pump, the employee inside the store was able to use her card to purchase his/her own gas!

To keep this from happening, after you get your receipt, you must press the 'CLEAR ' button or your information will be stored until the next customer inserts their card.

Be sure to tell all your friends / family so that this doesn't happen to them !
Pressing the clear button is a must each and every time.

You mean it shows there HSBC plat card with RM30k CL can apply for CIMB world card? My brother has DA plat card with 35k limit and HSBC plat with 30k CL. Can he apply that ma? Besides of pavillion, where can he applies this one? Damansara credit card center can do that?

Yes. I think i'll try my luck     Will post an update if i get it ... But really sure RM30k from HSBC credit card is enough ? It's kind of surreal ...
