Of course deal is better when you have promotions. From Sept to Dec, that is already Rm320 saving if you spend RM1.6k for petrol and groceries which is consider necessities for me. The rebate is on top of reward points.
If you are new cardholder, it is still worth it.

yeap. planning to apply for it, dont know it is worth or not

Citibank : 2% rebate on Phone bills
OCBC : 5% rebate on Utility bills (which includes Phone, Electricity, Assessment, Astro)

Citibank : 2% rebate on Pharmaceutical shopping
OCBC : 1% rebate on Pharmaceutical shopping

Citibank : No capping on total monthly rebates, except petrol at RM30/month

I applied for SCB Platinum mastercard sometime in Sept because of the RM188 cash back deal and two years annual fee waived. However today I received two Platinum cards.  Can I call the customer service to terminate one of the card and get the GST RM50 cancell?

Or anybody knows if we are having RM188 cash back for both cards..

one master and one visa ? u only can cancel the card after 6 months

If SCB really practice this policy then it is very strange.
You can cancel the card anytime ... the reason why people say it is 6 months it is because to allow the agent to earn the commission.

at least u got rm138 X 2 for free
