Just got another SMS from Maybank, asking to register email address to get credit card statements, otherwise RM5 charged for paper statements from Feb 2011. If I remember correctly, this is the 3rd SMS. 1st SMS stated RM5 paper statements to start from June 2010, 2nd SMS stated RM5 charge to start from Sep 2010.
I already registered my email very early on, but just wondering why Maybank keeps shifting the goalpost. |

QUOTE(winner @ Oct 12 2010, 09:29 AM) I have viewed the second month statement of my OCBC Titanium. All the restaurant bills (including Coffee Bean), DiGi (auto debit), hypermarket (Tesco and Giant) and petrol expenses are all given 5% rebate. Hotel bill is however given 1% cash rebate. For your information, I spent quite a lot in restaurants and lounges in a hotel in Kota Kinabalu but everything was lumped into the hotel lodging bill. Next time I should pay the bills separately. Both the 5% & 1% rebates for my statement from 11 Sep to 11 Oct 2010 are less than my own calculations. All expenses like petrol, Giant, Tesco and Carrefour get 5% as expected, but looks like TMOnline bill payment and Jusco 1Utama Supermarket only get 1%. As for 1% rebates, I was only given max RM20 although I should get more than RM20 since my transactions were incurred in September & October.I will write an email and see whether I can get some explanations. |

QUOTE(zenquix @ Oct 12 2010, 12:03 PM) I've already asked OCBC. Rebate entitlement is based on statement date and not calendar month. So Sep 12 to Oct 11 is 1 month not 2. QUOTE(MGM @ Oct 12 2010, 12:30 PM) 5% rebate for the following: I thought it was clearly stated that from Aug-Dec 2010, max 1% per MONTH is RM20.- TM bills paid at TM Point - Some minimarket/Chinese Medicine Shop - Indah Water Konsortium For the period of 12-Dec-2010 to 11-Jan-2010, whether the 5%+1% max rebate of RM120 still apply? If according to Statement Date, then what is the condition for 1 Jan - 11 January 2011? |

QUOTE(chemistry @ Oct 12 2010, 10:24 PM) Thanks for the confirmation, as I am now able to detect where Titanium failed to give 5% rebates - it was the Shell petrol station at NKVE just before the Damansara toll interchange and not TMOnline. Discounting the RM73.73 petrol from Shell NKVE, I have managed to arrive at RM60.05 5% rebates from the total of RM1201 spent rounded up. |

It was for petrol. I am also scratching my head as the transaction description "SHELL-KOP.PEKERJA SHEL BKT DAMANSARA MYS".
