QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Sep 14 2010, 05:06 PM) - Public Bank - OCBC Bank - AMBank - Hong Leong Bank - Alliance Bank Just to name a few. You need to pay RM10 for stamp duty when applying for OCBC's. Alliance Bank charge RM10 for stamp duty and another RM50 as processing fee if my memory serves me correctly. Not sure if any other banks will charge you at all. I used to have a secured credit card from HSBC and i paid absolutely nothing to them. They did not ask me to pay for the stamp duty either. |

I found this from my friends e-mail
Don't know it is fake or not, mind to share? QUOTE Credit Card at petrol pump Beware when using credit card to fill petrol. Just got to know about this case through a friend that this thing actually happened to one of his co-workers. She used her credit card to purchase gas at the pump (like most of us do). She received her receipt like normal. However, when she checked her statement, there were 2 x RM50 charges added in addition to her purchase. Upon investigation, she found out that because she did not press the 'CLEAR ' button at the pump, the employee inside the store was able to use her card to purchase his/her own gas! To keep this from happening, after you get your receipt, you must press the 'CLEAR ' button or your information will be stored until the next customer inserts their card. Be sure to tell all your friends / family so that this doesn't happen to them ! Pressing the clear button is a must each and every time. |

QUOTE(ck3lam @ Sep 28 2010, 01:24 PM) For most people might fall under category 2% or 3% with additional 3% during promotion. Maybe he is driving a lambogini? Unless you always use the car in your work, otherwise not really worth it. I'll stick with the existing cards with flat 5% regardless of spending tier. I think PB always like to have cash rebate tier in their promotion. Added on September 28, 2010, 1:31 pm Do you pump more than RM800 every month? I might consider this cc because it is free for life without any condition. |
