I dont see why bananas are a big no no, they are a good instant energy source actually. As for the biscuits, TRY your best to avoid them, but if u really are having a hard problem, buy those oat or high fibre biscuits, they're lower in sugar. Cant answer how many eggs coz I dont even know what your daily routines are like. Are u working, do u workout often?

QUOTE(pinkdalmation @ Oct 24 2010, 10:32 PM) >.< I got confused, cos apparently cucumber was on the OK list, and carrots were not .. banana and watermelon is a big no no .... Struggling to manage my diet now .. I used to go low carb, but no carbs + medication gives me the wildest mood swings Meals now mostly large portion of fresh veggies, some form of meat ... If I'm eating carbs, which is better - baked potato or bread ? Havent touched rice for 6 weeks so far .... Snack on fruit or cucumber, sometimes biscuits (i have a huge problem with biscuits) ... if i really keep feeling hungry then a hard boiled egg how many eggs can i eat in a day ? banana is good if not over eat. 1-2 banana a day is ok. biscuit try to avoid, or choose a healthier whole grain biscuit. between bread and baked potato, better to choose wholegrain bread. or even better rolled oat.

Instead of avoiding certain food, why not learn about basic nutrition.
Carbs, protein, fat. What are the functions, what food contains what, and alter your intake based on your activities and needs.
--
Btw between baked potato and bread, I'd choose baked potato hands down. The reason :
1) I try to eat food as close to nature as possible. God knows what chemical they put in your bread.
2) You can eat a lot of bread in one sitting. Baked potato, not so much. Tastes awesome with the skin.

IF you eat more than you need, then probably it will get bigger. But if get bigger, just by a small increment. You are not doing any weight training to build your leg This post has been edited by kurtkob78: Oct 25 2010, 07:03 PM

Just want to share some tips that I'm using to lose weight ,
The main thing to do is control what you eat , it doesn't matter how hard you trained if you eat the wrong stuff might as well you don't train.
From the last week , I'm avoiding/eating less carbs especially rice. What I'm having for lunch is 2 types of vegetables and 1 type of meat (fish/chicken) non deep fried. Less/none sweet stuff. Eat more fruits. Another tips is to eat slowly and chew your food throughly , you can do this by putting down your spoons / fork down after a few mouth so that you can take your time.
As for training I increase my weight gradually after 5 reps than straight away with the heavy ones. Like 20kg-25kg-30k. This way, I don't feel too sore at the end of the day and I can work out more often than what I'm used to as normally I will be to sore the next few days to go to the gym.
Finally , you don't get fat in 1 day so don't expect to be slimmer in 1 day as well. Make it a habit and you can see difference.
Orange90, Normally HIIT will wear you out in 15mins , else you're not sprinting to the max.
Kurtkob78, I think your leg will tone up and be firm instead of getting bulky unless you do weights.
