QUOTE(lexcorp @ Aug 20 2010, 12:12 AM) Apple concept is having fullscreen to the best aspect ratio or kind of it. In short if the webpage you are trying to view doesn't require you to go fullscreen then clicking maximize the it won't maximize till edge of your screenHowever, just drag the corners to make it go full screen and each time you launch Safari it will stay that way Added on August 20, 2010, 11:59 pm QUOTE(dugung76 @ Aug 19 2010, 10:40 PM) Hi I'm new with Pro, I wonder how long is the battery life... mine is like 5 hours tho, is that correct? cuz they said it's 7 hours. I can get easily 6-7-8 hrs when surfing or doing light task (either on old MBP 13 or new MBP13). Things to check, Wifi, bluetooth, music/movie, brightness etcI got around 4 hrs when watching movie etc...well who would want to see a dark/not bright movie anyway..lol This post has been edited by viper-xs: Aug 20 2010, 11:59 PM |

QUOTE(doctorpopcorn @ Aug 19 2010, 03:12 PM) OK so this is kinda weird. Whenever I type on my MBP, and my arm touches the edge of the aluminum unibody, I get a tiny 'electrical shock'. Like a tingling sensation. A little painful lah. But very minimal. I was wondering if this happens to anyone else and is this normal? i'm getting this a lot!and everytime i use my mbp with power adapter when i run my fingers on the spaces besides the keyboard, edges of the monitor, edges of the cdrom etc it's sorta like something is running through.. current? |

Regarding the question about external HDD for Macbook that I asked a few days ago.
I actually ended up buying a FreeAgent GoFlex 500GB It's kinda cheap, only about RM40 extra compared to other brands. And the coolest feature is its flexibility. You can change to either USB 3.0, FireWire 800 or eSata anytime you want, provided that you have all the interfaces. It comes with a standard USB2.0 by the way. |

Hi,
What do you guys mean when you say there's no full screen on Safari? Mine looks like this. ![]() Have you tried clicking on the three diagonal lines at the bottom right of the window and dragging it all the way to fit your screen? |

Yea, the green little button does not bring it to full screen, it just expands big enough to show the entire webpage, so use the three diagonal lines at the bottom right of the window.

There are also reasons as to why Apple did not implement the full-screen feature... useful to me for multitasking and drag-and-drop feature... |

@Moutzu, try going to system preferences-->trackpad. Under the One Finger section check Tap to click and Dragging. Now go to Safari, double tap on the three diagonal lines and drag. When double tapping make sure you don't let go after the second tap. Which means tap once, tap twice and drag straight away without letting go.

Together with both your tips, I have now managed to expand the web page to the full screen. Now more appreciative and really enjoying using the Mac. Once again, thanks to both of you. I find LYN forumers are very helpful in every topics I participate. Keep it up guys and gals. |
