QUOTE(mannquin @ Aug 17 2010, 08:02 PM) Hey guys, I need to install windows on my mac and I already did some research. bootcamp driver can be downloaded from apple website.I also have a genuine copy of windows 7 pro 64 bit with me. And when I was about to start the installation, I realized I need some drivers for it to be fully functional Then I googled again, and now I know the drivers are all located in the OS X Leopard DVD given. The problem is, I left it so far away even 10 hour drive could not bring me there. Can somebody help me on this? Or is anybody kind enough to lend me his/her OS X DVD? FYI I own the core i5 2.4GHz Macbook Pro. Thanks in advance! |

QUOTE(mememe12 @ Aug 19 2010, 09:37 AM) if u are using it as time machine backup.. firewire is better because of the speed.. but if u want portable.. USB still more common.. i m using WD 1TB to do backup No need to used fw800 for time machine, the backup only take time for the first time backup, after that no more issue regarding of transfer speed. I used USB as a time machine backup and fw800 and fw400 as a movie (HD and Bluray) and mp3 storage. |

QUOTE(Moutzu @ Aug 21 2010, 11:51 AM) O-I-C. Thx for the info. If you are using both (Mek and windows), i'll suggest you to install MS Office.BTW, if I use iWork, is it necessary for me to use MS Office? Cos' still adjusting to using a Mac and loving it every moment of it as I explore more of MBP features. I hope by reading Switch 101 - Migrate to Mac, I will learn more about maximising usage of MBP. |

Hi everyone, just want to ask only.
Is it possible to play 3d bluray movie (ISO) using a mbp 15" 2.4, with the 3D Vision Spec? I try to play a Bluray ISO, using Win7(bootcamp), and it can play (using 3 different software). One more thing, do u guys know what application can be used to play 3d movie for Mac OS X? This post has been edited by kalosneri: Aug 23 2010, 12:54 PM |

Hi yuvanesh, have you tried to connect the modem to windows, I also having the same problem previously when I'm testing a new modem, test it using Snow Leopard, No services, but after switching to Windows, the modem works really well. BTW, what brand of the modem you bought?Added on August 24, 2010, 3:54 pm QUOTE(nimrod323 @ Aug 23 2010, 08:32 PM) Hi, if you still remember, when there is still no LCD and LED TV, when people still using CRT TV, TV3 has been broadcasting a 3d movie title JAWS (the white shark that eaten people), all you need to have is the 3d spec to view the movie via your CRT TV.This post has been edited by kalosneri: Aug 24 2010, 03:54 PM |

QUOTE(il0ve51 @ Oct 21 2010, 04:08 PM) @wengthekit me also, i'm targeting 17" but not really tempting to get the current specs. RM7k without bluray is a big no for me.we are in the same dilemma. btw, a silly question here, if i buy mpb now it should pre-install with snow leopard, when lion out can we upgrade it? need pay or free? btw, already sold my santa rossa 15" 2 weeks ago. |
