- antiglare screen protector if u cannot stand the glare
- palmrest protector if u wear metal watch / sweat a lot. try moshi palmguard
- keyboard protector is a must if u eat/smoke in front of ur mbp. silicone types attract dust n too 'smooth' to type, can try moshi clearguard
- invisible shield / speck casing to protect against scratches
- a good, padded laptop bag
- kensington lock, make sure it's easy to use n carry. else u wont use it
- not an accessory, but i'll recommend anyway: applecare protection plan

Any suggestion on where to get an antiglare screen protector? No ebay please, I can't wait for a month

I'm facing this one weird problem.

Usually on windows, I left click, hold and move the cursor to select multiple items on my screen.

But on mac, I realized sometimes the cursor is dragging everything in its way after I use the trackpad for a while. But then I can't get it back to normal, the way it normally is.

Does anyone know how to fix this? The only way I could figure out is by rebooting it.

Guys,

I wana ask...
When I'm charging my MBP, I feel the electricity shock around the edges, especially where the wrist rest area is.. any ideas?

I remember reading it somewhere but couldn't find it back on the thread.. sorry sad.gif

I'm using the MagSafe plugged with the extended cable to my power source extension..

THx.

This happens to me all the time when I got it hooked up with the power adapter.
I've no idea what's going on. All I know is try lifting it up with the back of it as the pivot.
You'll feel electrostatic charge no more

Try using the long power cord.

Yea, I also thought earthing the connection could solve the problem since the extended cord has 3 pins
Did that already still no changes.

Hey guys, I need to install windows on my mac and I already did some research.
I also have a genuine copy of windows 7 pro 64 bit with me.
And when I was about to start the installation, I realized I need some drivers for it to be fully functional
Then I googled again, and now I know the drivers are all located in the OS X Leopard DVD given.
The problem is, I left it so far away even 10 hour drive could not bring me there.

Can somebody help me on this?
Or is anybody kind enough to lend me his/her OS X DVD?
FYI I own the core i5 2.4GHz Macbook Pro.

Thanks in advance!

Just wondering is it worth it to get an external hard disk with FireWire 800 instead of USB 2.0?

If it's Firewire only, I'd argue against it, despite all the benefits of Firewire. As Firewire isn't as standard as USB in terms of adoption, you'll likely finds yourself in a pinch when trying to mount the drive on a machine that can't support the former.

I found one with both FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 that is around RM400. A regular external 2.5 HDD with USB only costs RM250 nowadays.
They are both 500GB and yes, I'm looking for that amount of capacity

Regarding the question about external HDD for Macbook that I asked a few days ago.

I actually ended up buying a FreeAgent GoFlex 500GB

It's kinda cheap, only about RM40 extra compared to other brands. And the coolest feature is its flexibility. You can change to either USB 3.0, FireWire 800 or eSata anytime you want, provided that you have all the interfaces. It comes with a standard USB2.0 by the way.

Hi yuvanesh, have you tried to connect the modem to windows, I also having the same problem previously when I'm testing a new modem, test it using Snow Leopard, No services, but after switching to Windows, the modem works really well.  BTW, what brand of the modem you bought?

Hi, if you still remember, when there is still no LCD and LED TV, when people still using CRT TV, TV3 has been broadcasting a 3d movie title JAWS (the white shark that eaten people), all you need to have is the 3d spec to view the movie via your CRT TV.

Yeah you got a point. This makes me ponder
