or you can search in Appstore for " case program" on your iPhone 4


before running the app please check on iPhone4 , appstore at the bottom it is your iTune Account login is yours . not others ie :US ACC( Shipping Address is as per your iTune account registration)

The app will ask you to log in. (make sure you got Data)
it will verify your imei and serial to check valid iPhone 4

Easy Part

next it will show your iTune account registered address.

Thats it!

to verify this transaction

On safari goto apple.com

select account at top right

log in your iTune account

next you should see there is a pending shipping order

Acquiring your Free Case via SG iTunes Account [credit idoblu]

I've written a step by step tutorial with screenshots for those that want to create a SG iTunes Account so that you can download the Free Case Program App. You still need a Singapore address and someone from there to send you the case.


1. Open iTunes on your computer
On the right hand panel called Quick Links - click Change Country


2. Select the Country of your choice
A bunch of flags will appear and you select Singapore (or another country where you want the case send to - but not Malaysia)



3. Browse for the Free Bumper Case and Create an Account
Once you have selected the country, it will go back to the iTunes Store. At the top right hand corner, type Free Bumper Case into the search box
Now the iPhone app will appear and you click on it and a box will appear to ask you to log on to your account or create an account. Click Create New Account. You can also select any other Free Apps for the same purpose. (see right panel at the middle)



4. Welcome to the iTunes Store
A welcome screen will appear - you click Continue



5. iTunes Store Terms & Condition
Check the box at the bottom of the T&C and click Continue



6. Create an Apple ID
Put in your own email address. This must be a valid email address. You can't use any email address which you had previously used before.
Fill out the rest - a password (remember to write this down for later), question and answer, your date of birth. Click Continue when done.



7. Provide a Payment Method.
Ok on this screen, you select None then fill in the name and address. Since you are only creating this account for the sole purpose of getting the free case, I suggest that you fill in the name and address of your friend who will be receiving the case for you.



8. Verify Your Account.
This page you just click Done.
An email will then be send to the address you entered above. Click "Verify Now" on your email. It will open a new page for you to enter your email address (Apple ID) and your password. Once it says Verified, we can go to the next step. The Apple ID verification server might take many tries before it can load the page. Try again if it fails the load the verification page.



9. Download the App into your iPhone
Go to Settings > App Store (scroll down to see it)
Click Sign In. (if you are already signed in to your MY account - sign out first). Now sign in with the email address that you created above.
Once you signed in, press your Home button to exit. Then select App Store, and click Search at the bottom and type Free Bumper Case in the search box above. The app should appear and you download that.


10. Order your free case
Click on the iPhone 4 Case Program App and follow the instructions to order your case. The shipping address will be already filled out but you can amend this incase you want to send it somewhere else. You will get an Order Acknowledgement email once this is done. Also remember to sign out of this account and sign back into your MY account when all is done.

good info, it will use the itunes shipping address to send the case. That mean any user used fake US account need to register Malaysia account first in order the case to ship to your Malaysian address.

can use Malaysia iTunes Account + Malaysia Address to get?

do you know if we can use 1 itunes account to claim for 2 iphones? meaning claim the bumper case for 2 phones.

since it verifies the IMEI and serial, as long as the app is run from different phones, i suppose you should be able to claim them using the same acc

Yes you can. Apple doesnt limit how many cases you can claim (i think) but only 1 per iPhone 4.

As for the claim, any phone bought before sept 30 can claim the free casing

i believe we need to apply it in duration of 30 days after we bought the iphone.

@Superman7 , either handmade or can go to maxis center and change into microsim with a fee of rm25. or can aska forumer here or in garale sale to do the services.

maxis now officially provides micro sim for RM25? I didn't know that.

Hmmm. Has anyone successfully claimed he cases? I have done mine but it is sent to UK tho. IIRC only list of countries where the iPhone were sold were listed in the selection so I am not sure about Malaysia.

The link doesn't work for me, coz my iTunes account is Malaysia based.

I've another solution and i've booked the case thru case program ady.
I switched country/region to Australia and then ordered and ship to there as my gf is there as well.
She will be bringing back to me after that. Estimated arrival time should be mid of sept.
So if anyone wants to book, it's better to switch the country/region to those country which already have iphone4.

normal to want free things. moreover, you can choose from 8 different cases, not just limited to bumper. each cost around USD30, which is equivalent to around RM100. so why not get it?

Not only can choose free bumper thou, alot of branded casing are available as well. Such as Griffin, Speck and etc. which cost you alot when u purchase from reseller. Btw, antenna problem occur when it's naked body and left bottom part is completely covered with palm hand. With casing on, no problem at all. But anyway the main purpose for me is to protect my iphone4

i thought iphone 4 doesn't have the antenna problem, it just purely rumour. but this thread explain it all :-)

According to Jobs, all the phone has certain antenna problem with some specific way to hold. But then, it doesn't affect me much. Love my iphone4 so far.

I claimed Speck Fitted Case. Yeah true also i like the glassy and steel feeling. And somemore the uniqueness of iphone4 is the steel! But i scare i scratch it Maybe will let it naked once in a while..haha

it can..it only uses the phone to run the program...so once you an iphone 4..then the imei number will be register over the system...then that particular you cant redeem more...but if you have another phone you can use the same itunes acc....

u can't ship to malay la..., iPhone not arrive yet here...., so apple considered malaysian people didn't have the iphone 4 yet la...

from what i understand, anyone who has i4 can claim thr free bumper, using his own itunes account (even Msian itunes acc). but the bumper can only be shipped to the countries which i4 have been launched and sold.

Hi guys, I'm confuse on something, should i get iphone4 from sg, or i should wait for the plan? Actually i dont even know whats the benefit on sticking to plan.... is it cheaper? any experience user can share their thoughts? i dont afraid of warranty matter as my bro always go to sg.

Its up to you... Most people will definitely opt for the data plan to enable them to online on the go... But doesnt matter even you get your iphone first without a plan as you still can just sign up to digi or maxis later... So if you can get it earlier why not but the supply is kinda scarce now... I would get the phone first then only think about the plan later...

So far I managed to claim 5 bumpers using 1 itunes account. So looks like there is no limitation on how many bumpers per one itunes account.

I used US acct to claim my bumper... There is no for Malaysia acct... Go register I us acct and can dl the case program from iTunes... Register the US acct 1st and dl the case app, open the app and select ur bumper, after that iTunes will ask u to fill in the detail for shipment, in this time u change the whole add to SG address or whoever have fren in other country that have launch ip4, make sure put in ur fren name and not urs... And done!!! If u dun have fren in those country, all I have to say is u are not eligible to claim for the bumper or maybe u can wait until Malaysia launch ip4...

You must claim your free case within 30 days from the day you order your iPhone 4.

you will need to first create an singapore itune account by selecting your region in itune to singapore then only create/register account there.
once you have sg itune account and login, the itune will automatically switch to sg reagion and from there u can search easily for "iphone 4 case program" and get your bumper/case d
