resetted my port and lost my 218 ip address. called the 100 number and request technical support for 4m and i get it back instantly after they resetted the port again.

ur Line Mode is G.dmt, i dont think can support 4mb correct me if im wrong

Try call them if can adjust the line to adsl2+ would be much better

You are mistaken, 2Mbps and 4Mpbs are on ADSL2+, 1Mbps and below are still using ADSL technology. G.dmt is quite similar to ADSL.

G.dmt can support up to 8Mbit and is supposedly more stable (when the connection drops, it will reconnect straight away). Anyway, that's the info I got from somewhere.

Hi everyone...I just upgraded my package to 4mbps few days ago...and the technician did come my house and test the speed using the test account.But now im using my own account the speed stil 1.6mbps...anyone know whats the problem...I asked my technician he said I need to wait about 1 week for my account speed to 4mbps

you have to wait up to 2 days for the 4MB to be activated for your account. If still not done after 2 days, phone the installer whose mobile is on the job sheet.

TM '100' is stupid.

Called them to report a fault, they told me all 4Mbps issue have to be transferred to ATS, which is offline after 12am. Have to call back tomorrow morning.

my story regarding my expierence on 4m. i shortened it so it wont be TLDR.

my 4m having adsl sync issue since sunday. dsl resync every 5 minutes or 10 minutes. troubleshooted whole day. trying to play with the adsl modulation setting. nothing worked. made a report on sunday~monday morning 4.30am via 100. phone technician came at 10AM monday, suggested to replace whole house wiring including outside wiring because the line is noisy. 1 straight line from dp box to inside my house to the telephone. cost me Rm 50. problem still there. called insider ask them to assign a internet people to come and trouble shoot. the guy came at 4pm. dsl sync issue still remain after reset port. but because the technician came late. even though he can change port for me, but the adsl sync speed is limited to 1.5m so he gonna do it 2moro morning.
