Since you have VISA and AMEX in mind, add in 1 Citibank Air Asia Mastercard will be perfect

I was about to say that as well. Frankly I don't see why @Bakmoi need more than 1 card let alone 3 cards.

@Bakmoi you need to decide whether you want the fuel rebate or points. Given now you need to pay RM50 per card, you need to choose wisely. Whether or not a card is good or not ... it's up to the individual main purpose of using it.

They are not the same but roughly the same. Like the difference between Maxis, DiGi, Celcom and etc.

AMEX is not really wide acceptable in Malaysia not in Klang Valley, coverage wise is pretty good compared to other states.

If you're looking for a card for convenience, any visa/MC will do.
If you pump alot of petrol then go for citibank shell.

but if you're looking for cash rebates then go for cards such as uob one.

Just my 2sen.

i called da the whole day but could not get through. such a big difference compared to last time where just pressing 0 would get someone to talk to. feels that da is so downgraded now in terms of customer service.

No. There're not the same.

AMEX without bearing Maybank logo on the card is using Membership Rewards programme.

AMEX with Maybank logo (Maybankard) is using TP programme.

A tip for you. Did you just graduate? You can go open a hsbc grad pack acc. Fee acc and can apply credit card easily with just your offer letter. Approval rate is higher as well.

Well, so far, SCB & HSBC lines does not seems to be affected. Been calling them for a few times in a day for the past 2 weeks or so and got thru to their people on first attempt even during office hours etc.
